"Experiencing the sound of an afternoon rain shower on the roof of the summer house was beyond description. Saw twenty or more bird varieties right outside the lodge. Views are magnificent."

"The atmosphere at this lodge was peaceful and restful. We spent a lot of time in the rocking chairs on the patio looking out at the lake. The breakfast was adequate, with gluten free options that were a welcome surprise. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Some of the details in the room could be updated, specifically the balcony/bathroom door handles and the bathroom flooring that was cracked and moved when you stepped on the tiles. "
"Our stay was wonderful, we wish we could have stayed longer. Communication with Simone was great, everything was in order upon arrival, & having the dock was a wonderful source of joy for our family to swim, catch fish & visit! It’s such a pristine, lovely home! "
"The seafood buffet is great value for the the price. All staff were very helpful and friendly. This is a beautiful upscale rustic venue with several extra options such as walking/hiking, beach volleyball, golf, etc. "
"Absolutely beautiful location! After a long day on the motorcycle it felt amazing to take a dip in the picturesque Squally Creek. The cabin was cute and just what we needed. Brian’s directions he sent were spot on. We used GPS to Cedar Cliff Church, then followed his directions to the cabin with no problems. I will be looking forward to staying here again soon. "
"My ideal spot, off the beaten path, quiet, and beautiful. Check in and getting into the house was easy, directions to the house were exact. House was clean, besides a little sticky spill in a table in one bedroom that hadn't been wiped away from the previous renter. Didn't take much effort to wipe up. Took me a minute to realize the "twin beds" in the 3rd bedroom space was a trundle bed. Internet was spotty, and the movie we watched one night kept buffering, but we got through it. Otherwise, everything was great. We spent a lot of time out of the house, exploring the town and surrounding areas, but the time we did spend at the house was worthwhile. House was well stocked with basic necessities, appliances worked as expected. One bathtub did have a little bit of a slow drain, the other one seemed fine. The kids loved the brook, stacking rocks and salamander hunting. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The property is just beautiful, and despite several nearby cottages, it was relatively quiet. Andrews itself is so quant. We had lunch at the Burger Basket and Morning Fog, and dinner and a beer at The Hoppy Trout. Everything we are was delicious, and the bartender at the Trout have us some history on the town and Junaluska. Also enjoyed shopping at several stores, the record store especially is quite a gem. We hope to make it back someday! "
