"Rooms comfortable. Common areas in good repair. My bathroom needed a little attention. Spa and gym area a little limited but not too busy. Stayed 3 times now and the jacuzzi has never been working "

"The room was ok .. spacious bedroom area although the bathroom was tiny and the door opened into it so that made it even smaller. There was a large cobweb on the bathroom ceiling. The staff that “welcomed” us at check in and I use that term extremely loosely were sadly lacking in customer service skills. We had to ask where the room was and even then the directions weren’t helpful. There was another member of staff sitting around doing nothing which looks very unprofessional. One of our bathroom towels was dirty and I asked the reception staff if someone could replace it with a clean one. No apology which was disappointing. Similarly when we checked out no one bothered asking if everything had been ok with our stay. I will however say that the food in the restaurant is exceptional. We had dinner on the Saturday evening and the restaurant was very busy as you would expect. Service was excellent, friendly waiting staff and the food was out of this world. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend the restaurant but steer clear of the hotel. Very disappointed. "

"Lovely hotel close to the best of Cheltenham. Our only regret was that we got to stay for one night and the residents bar closed quite early. The basement bar was open late but open to nonresidents, so was very busy on a Saturday night!"
