Narrow cobblestone streets wind through this pedestrian-only district where centuries of Moroccan and Andalusian influences thrive. Traditional artisans display handwoven textiles and pottery in small workshops throughout the labyrinth of azure alleyways. Rooftop cafés offer mint tea and mountain views. The medina's authentic character reveals itself in morning calls to prayer and evening family gatherings.

Ain Haouzi

In Ain Haouzi, traditional whitewashed buildings with striking blue accents create a tranquil backdrop to authentic Moroccan life. The area provides easy access to nearby attractions like Park Sidi Abdelhamid and Ras El Ma Waterfall. Small family-run cafés serve delicious tagines and mint tea throughout the area. Morning calls to prayer echo through the valley while the scent of traditional bread baking fills the cool mountain air.

10/10 Excellent
"Casa Sabila is nestled in the souk very near the taxi stand, so it is a short walk up to the hotel. Our room had a very nice view of the mountains and the town, looking down into the valley. We hiked to the top mosque and then down through the farmers' fields to the Spanish mosque. It was foggy and socked in when we left (good photos) and sunny and warm upon our return (about 2 hours round trip, maybe longer). The breakfasts were ample and nice. The coffee is dark and black, like my soul, just how I like it. Very good. The beds are comfortable. The air conditioner was eccentric and hard to master, but it was fine in the end. They let us keep our bags there until our bus departure time. A perfect stay in a beautiful town."
