"We loved the look and feel of the cabin. It was cozy and we really loved having a fire on those cool, early spring nights. We enjoyed seeing wild turkeys, deer, chipmunks, & squirrels. The Tunnel of Trees was beautiful! Unfortunately we didn't find any Petoskey stones. Maybe next year. The only tiny downside was the traffic noise during the daytime. But we would definitely want to rent this property again!"

"I want to start off by saying we did not feel unsafe at all! Some of these reviews are dramatic. It is behind an older hotel but it’s not scary and no one is going to get you. Cabin was new and clean. The door lock batteries died and we couldn’t get in but they came out to fix it within 5 minutes. I messaged the host on here a couple times and didn’t get any reply back so communication wasn’t that great. I would suggest to add a full length mirror, hooks for towels and a broom for indoors. We were a comfortable driving distance from the ferry to Mackinac Island, beaches, Headlands International Dark Sky, MacGulpin Lighthouse and shopping at Mackinaw City.
