Property with great character, beautiful gardens and a fantastic swimming pool

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this stunning property. It was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of dishes, tables, chairs, and kitchen supplies for our large family gathering.The bedrooms were spacious, full of character, and the mattresses were very comfortable, ensuring everyone slept well.The highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing swimming pool and pool house—we hardly left the area all weekend! The pool, with its deep end for jumping, was a huge success with both the children and the adults. We also loved the piano room, which became the setting for a fantastic karaoke evening where everyone enjoyed singing together. The stair lift was a wonderful addition that made my mum especially happy . Dogs are accepted too Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish. Christelle was outstanding—friendly, professional, respectful, always smiling, and always ready to help with anything we needed.We organised a family reunion (cousinade) with 26 people staying at the property, and during the day we welcomed up to 41 family members. The house accommodated us brilliantly and created memories we will cherish for years to come.We all agreed that we would love to return in a few years' time. An exceptional property and an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended!"

"I think it was my misunderstanding completely, but I thought that there was a kitchenette where I could prepare food. There is a microwave and a small fridge so cooking was not really an option. Other than that, the location and accommodation is lovely. The garden area is spectacular for reading, relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine. Very peaceful. One caution, the walls are very thin, if you are a light sleeper like me, bring earplugs! The hosts are the kindest and best people - I would totally recommend their beautiful place."

Une super semaine en famille. 2 points à améliorer : 1. le propriétaire était d'accord pour que nous arrivions à 16h le samedi, nous avons attendu une heure car il ne répondait pas à nos appels. 2. Le départ à 8h le jour du départ est vraiment dur ! 3. Il faudrait préciser la question des draps et la taille des lits."

"When looking for accommodation one of the criteria was a heated pool. This listing advertised a heated pool as of May 1. When we arrived the host acknowledged that the pool was open and heated at 27 degrees the day before. In reality the pool and pool area were unusable. Leafs covered the pool cover and seating around the pool area. Had we attempted to use the pool we would have had to roll the cover up and back on the pool after we used it. The patio outside our unit was not swept up from leafs and hence the leaves were carried into the room. Despite that the room was not swept in the three days were there. On a positive note the host was accommodating fulfilling all requests and the breakfasts were excellent."
