The hotel and staff was great. They did loose power for about twelve hours one day. Nothing they could had known or done. They got it fixed and compensated accordingly. Great dining in the area. A clean city. The down side was loud car revving and burnouts through out the night. Concerning was the high visibility and amount of armed security officers. This was through out the city. Also the pat downs to get into some bars/clubs.

Very loud outside with a club around the corner, cars peeling out all throughout the night until at least 3 am, people yelling and fighting on street below, will not be staying here again, not worth the money or additional parking fees

Sighs, the 3 stars was due to the property losing power yhe mornklg of our stay. We were there for a wedding and had to take a cold shower, with no air conditioning and dress for a wedding in the dark. We then had to go down 8 flights of steps as the elevator didn't work. My husband almost fell as the stair had flooding down the steps. Nothing really done about the inconvenience. Then upon leaving I notice we were charged again. Hotel didn't see it on their end but the extra charge was a big inconvenience as I was headed to another hotel lacking fund I accounted for. I know it wasn't the staffs fault but a big name as double tree you would think service to their electricity would have been on right away after an outage.

Very clean room and the staff was helpful but not overly friendly! But no cookies…. I was told about the infamous cookies and saw it on the glass doors but, no cookies!! It is on a really busy corner in downtown Charlotte, so be careful!
