Chose a mountain view room on the backside of the lodge for a quieter space. The Lakeview rooms are on the front side facing the highway. A breakfast buffet is complimentary with your stay which was very good. Enjoyed relaxing on the patio.

This was a really cute place. We had a patio outside our room with a little pond with lots of swallows flying around. The room had comfy beds and a flat screen TV with an option to stream apps once we logged into our account. They were the only place on our trip that had a hairdryer. The breakfast buffet was the best breakfast I think I've had anywhere! They had roasted potatoes, real thick bacon, 3 kinds of juice, an excellent fruit bowl, and eggs. It really gave us the energy we needed to go about our day. The resident puppy was in their bed in the hallway/front desk area and was very sweet and mellow. We loved this place.

unimpressed with the the stay at ninepipes lodge from the no hot water to take a shower at 9:45pm to the extremely salty food served in the restaurant also the big promise of a dog greeting us which never materialized to a huge mix up with our booking and room, this was very disappointing, also the room was musty smelling.

Property is convenient for traveling through Western Montana. It is old but well kept. Staff is helpful. Restaurant has a gorgeous view of the small lake behind it. The one down side is a musty smell in the reception are and down the halls to the rooms. No smell inside thankfully A museum and gift shop/coffee shop are in the same location.
