Charlevoix is known as "Charlevoix the Beautiful" for good reason. Your getaway is less than a mile walk to the downtown area with unique shopping and dining, and Lake Michigan public beach with playground, food takeout and picnic area in the shadow of the iconic lighthouse. Bridge Street, at the heart of downtown Charlevoix, is home to many shops and restaurants, from fast food to fine dining.

There is a short walk from the home to Lake Michigan public access to the quieter Northside Lake Michigan beaches, perfect for a swim, sun, or long walk to North Point looking for sea glass and Petoskey stones along the way. North Point Nature Preserve, featuring hiking trails, disk golf, and scenic access to Lake Michigan is a short walk away.

It is also a short walk to Lake Charlevoix public beach by the historic rail Depot. If you visit in the winter, Charlevoix is less than 30 miles to two ski resorts, as well as a local small ski hill. Charlevoix Cottage North is less than 10 minutes to the Castle, a beautiful wedding venue and tour opportunity.

The cozy downstairs of your home away from home features a living room, dining room which can accommodate 8, and a fully equipped kitchen. Attached to the kitchen is a "mudroom" leading to the large, fully fenced backyard including a patio with a table and chairs and a barbeque grill. The first floor features a bedroom (Queen ) and an ensuite full bath. Upstairs features a twin bed room and queen bedroom joined by a full bath. We have tried to include anything you might need to stay and feel at home.

The full basement is where you will find the washer and dryer.

The backyard is fully fenced for your kids and /or pets. The patio has a umbrella table and chairs and a barbeque grill. There is a noise ordinance in Charlevoix after 11pm. The residential neighborhood where the home is located is quiet.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was located in a beautiful neighborhood with a short walk to the beach and downtown. The backyard was also great for our children and dogs. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed, with plenty of space. Frank the owner was extremely responsive. We definitely hope to come back!

We had an incredible week at this wonderful property! The house had everything we needed. We cooked some meals and found the kitchen well stocked and easy to work in. Loved the extra space provided by the retro table and chairs. The property is also a very easy walk into downtown, Lake Michigan, and Lake Charlevoix. The hosts graciously accepted our large dog who greatly enjoyed the space in the fenced backyard. And we loved the multiple seating options and large table in the yard. The host provided timely and clear directions and responded quickly to any of our communications. Thanks again for sharing your home!

Great Cottage!

We stayed here with our 9 month old, had a great time! The house is close to downtown, in a nice quiet neighborhood. The yard is beautiful, lots of nice space for our dog to run around :)

Cute house in a great location

House was exactly as described in the listing. Very cute, clean and all the amenities. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and close to downtown Charlevoix. Would stay there again!

Fantastic house and location!

Stayed here for a girls trip and the house is wonderful! Such an easy, beautiful walk downtown and to the beach. You can’t beat the location of this home! And the home is very welcoming, comfortable and has a nice backyard. We will definitely be back!

Great Stay in Charlevoix

We had a great weekend staying here, the house was very clean, and the photos are all accurate. Frank was so communicative! The house had everything we needed. Great location, not far from downtown and very nice and quiet. The yard was great for our dog. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage

Great location and cute house!

This house was very clean and had lots of household items and beach essentials to make our stay very easy. Large fenced in yard which is great if you bring your dog! Great location…close to downtown and a beach access! The only downside was the 1st floor room and bathroom size but we made it work. Would highly recommend!

Cozy Cottage

We had a wonderful time. The cottage was adorable and clean and fully supplied with anything you would need. Our pups loved the back yard. Nice neighborhood and very close to downtown area and the water. We will be back again and we will recommend to friends. The town is beautiful.

“Charlevoix the beautiful”

We really enjoyed our stay in Charlevoix. The house was as advertised. Great location, well equipped and clean. We walked to town and to beaches every day. The checkin and checkout were a breeze and Frank and Sally were very responsive. We hope to return again next summer.

Fantastic Location!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. We prefer the Northside of Charlevoix, and this location allowed easy walking access to downtown and Lake Michigan beaches. The upstairs bedrooms did get a bit hot, but easily solved with a fan. The backyard is lovely. The hosts also had beach chairs and amenities for use if needed. Frank was quick to communicate and overall we had a great stay.

Felt like home

We booked this for a wedding we were attending. It was centrally located between the church and the reception. We were walking distance from the downtown Apple Festival. The owners had great communication and asked whether we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again.

Second time staying here, July 2024

Stayed at this same house last year with my wife and two teens. Very clean, cozy, with nice amenities, and great location in quiet little neighborhood. Always excellent communication from the property owner. Very pleasant half mile walk to downtown Charlevoix. Five minute walk to public beach access on Lake Michigan. Only 20-25 minute drive to Petosky (or 2.5 hour round trip by bike on paved path). Had a great time, would stay again.

Sweet Retreat

Fantastic home! Frank stayed in touch and was an amazing host! Short walk to downtown, lighthouse, grocery store, shopping and more. We had everything we needed and more. Bathrooms were stocked. Kitchen had tons of dishes, pans, etc. Loved the coffee and fixins'. Highly recommend this beautiful home for your visit to Charlevoix.

Perfect location in Charlevoix

This home is so cozy and inviting. We loved that the kitchen was so well stocked. The location is great because it's an easy walk to all the downtown activity but then it's in a quiet neighborhood to relax . Played a lot of cards around the dining table. We played a lot of golf in the area and of course enjoyed Lake Michigan. Frank and Sally are so helpful and responsive. We will be back . Thank you Frank and Sally

Cozy house close to beach and town

We had a lovely stay in Charlevoix. The owners Frank and Sally Campi were super easy to work with. The house is a charming Cape Cod type house a few blocks from the Lake Michigan shore. Nice big fenced backyard which was great for our dog. The layout worked well for a trip with adult children. They could have the upper floor and my husband and I took the bedroom downstairs Only caveat is that the downstairs bedroom is on the small side. The owners are very thoughtful and if you realized you needed it, they had probably thought to provide it. Big help to us were that beach chairs and beach towels were available to use so we didn't have to bring those. We enjoyed playing corn hole in the yard, walking down to the beach. We did walk into town, but if we were planning on doing a lot of walking in town, we would drive and park. All in all a lovely stay!
