4/10 Poor

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The positives: Excellent location steps from shopping and food,  spacious unit with room to rest and relax, and modern decor with newer furnishings. The negatives: This unit gets a lot of use and it shows.  There’s quite a bit to detail. I’ll mention a few examples.  Hooks adorn the walls where art used to hang but is no longer, stains blight the stairwell carpet, ants and other insects are an issue. The ant trap at the bottom of the stairs and the host’s assurance that the unit had been recently “sprayed” weren’t all that reassuring.  The 1st floor AC is either underpowered or broken. The host promptly responded to our concerns but didn’t solve them. The bottom line: For the money,  it’s not worth it. This place needs a week or 2 out of service so that it can be thoroughly cleaned and returned to the condition featured in the photos soliciting guests online.
