3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home located on Susan Lake. Susan Lake is 5.4 miles from downtown Charlevoix. It’s a shallow, narrow lake, and flows out the northern end 2 miles emptying into Lake Michigan. Enjoy the call of loons on Susan Lake, or kayak and fish the spring-fed waters.

Campfire pit, firewood and outdoor seating is also provided. Quiet time starts at 10:00 pm when outside.

Dogs are allowed, any size, but MUST BE ON LEASH when outside. This is mandatory. My neighbors have dogs and there are free range chickens right across the road. There is a $45 pet fee.

Miles of hiking trails through untouched forest and stunning water views from hilltops nearby. Several parks with stunning views and fishing piers are also located in the area.
Greensky Hill Indian United Methodist Church is a historical site, also on the shores of Susan Lake.
LITTLE TRAVERSE WHEELWAY is a paved and non-motorized trail that stretches 26 miles from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs along the coast of Little Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan. The trail is for biking, walking, running, inline skating and skiing. It has stunning views of the water, a boardwalk through a wetland and a historic section. Family reunion

Cottage is a short drive into Charlevoix. The drive was a little longer with it being venetian festival and all the traffic. That being said, it was great to be out a little ways and on lovely lake susan. Beds were comfortable, coffee, waters and toiletries were all provided which was super nice. We enjoyed our stay!

Relaxing lakeside stay

We had a very relaxing stay at this lakeside cottage. It had convenient access to Charlevoix and Petoskey for all the activities we wanted to do.

We had the best time staying here! The property was perfect and great location to explore cities like Charlevoix and Petoskey. Owner was wonderful to work with, I needed to get in contact for something after we checked out and owner answered right away and was so kind and helpful. 10/10 recommend and would stay here again.

Our stay on Susan Lake

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at this property. The listing was very accurate as to what was there. The neighborhood was quiet, the house was clean and comfortable, the wifi worked and all in all it was a nice getaway. We're happy that we stayed there.

This home provided everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the quiet setting and the beautiful views of the water. The fire pit was very enjoyable as well! Excellent host!

Fun Up North Spot

Fun and relaxing spot Up North. Great spot in-between downtown Charlevoix and Petoskey. Awesome bonfire pit, and fun to be able to use the Kayaks. Would stay again!

Cute home with a great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and well maintained and only a short distance from downtown Charlevoix. There was firewood and sticks available to have a nice fire down by the water. We would definitely recommend the home to others and would stay there again.

Beautiful Lakefront View and pet friendly

This place was great, the view of the lake is gorgeous! The owner goes above and beyond, and is super responsive! Lots of fun things to do in the area. There are kayaks and canoes you can take out and explore beautiful Susan Lake. Charlevoix is right around the corner and you’re a quick drive to Petoskey. We’ll definitely stay here again!!

Cute rental near Charlevoix

Nice place for a family. Property owner was super friendly and great with communicating. Would definitely stay again. I would just be mindful that it does get hot without AC. We stayed mid July and lucked out with gorgeous weather but it got quite hot in the house in the evening.

Two night stay for dedtination wedding

The cottage was perfect for our destination wedding in Charlevoix. We had the comforts of home to have a leisure day before the wedding. We would love to come back for a summer stay to enjoy the yard and lake.
