Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Wonderful!

We had a great stay in Charleston! The apartment was spacious, with plenty of room for six adults. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, but within 20-30 minutes walking distance of many Charleston sites. I would definitely stay here again!

Very spacious. Nicely decorated. And we loved the location. Just wish we had the opportunity to eat dinner at the restaurant down the street, Chubby Fish. If you book here, try to get in. We hear it’s amazing

The house itself was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with all the essentials. It had a cozy, homey feel and provided a great place to unwind after a day out. Charming home and convenient location

We stayed here for a girls weekend in Charleston and were impressed with the comfort, spacious rooms and living area, and the walking proximity to all of Charleston’s activities. The home has all of the essentials and check-in/check-out was easy. The quaint neighborhood minibar is attached to the building so there is some noise in the evening but it closes early and was not disruptive for us at all. We would definitely stay again!

Just perfect!

We had three couples who wanted to park our cars and enjoy Charleston! First, the house is charming! Loved everything about it. Second, the walk-ability factor was perfect! We were able to quickly walk to all the fun. The hidden surprise restaurants and businesses were amazing! Finally, we loved the little bar attached to the place! What an awesome hidden treasure with a welcoming and fun atmosphere!

Charming Charleston Home

It was close enough to walk to everything in downtown Charleston, but had the added convenience of being able to get in and out of the city quickly. It is a charming home and gives the vibe of what you would imagine in the downtown area. Lots of little bars and restaurants around within a couple of blocks.

September Getaway

This is a unique, historic home; clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the convenient, central location. We had easy access to all the main roads and downtown Charleston, although it was a bit far to walk to the historical spots. We appreciated the living room space for gathering and watching TV in the evening. It was helpful having a large refrigerator and kitchen space.

Great place

This historical home for sure has some stories to tell! The home is beautiful, well maintained and clean. Its location is great and on a fairly quiet street. Walkable to many destinations and easy to grab an uber to go explore. Communication with the property manager was smooth. They were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended but don’t put the people with the biggest suitcase on the top floor.

Perfect Location with a ton of space

We loved our stay at this property! The location is great-easy walk to king street & restaurants. The unit is spacious with fabulous natural light & lots of windows to feel the fresh air. The property was very clean & my group felt very comfortable throughout our stay.The bar next store can be a bit loud, but usually wraps up early so was not an issue

80 year old birthday bash

I rented the property to host a birthday weekend for my mother turning 80! She had three friends and I had my three kids and the house was perfect!! Enough room for everyone and three bathrooms! Neighborhood was cute and easy to navigate. We’ll be back!

Great Location, central to most everything

This property is in a great location, central to most everything. If you are interested in peace and quiet you might want to stay somewhere else. Though we were fine...the bar next door can get a bit rowdy on the weekend. The 3rd floor stairs are a bit narrow and the 3rd floor rooms can get warm during the day. Overall, its a cute home with plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place and location! Can hear noises outside/around

The property itself is great! Lots of space and it is close enough to walk to a lot of places in Charleston! There were great local restaurants and shops nearby! Just keep in mind that this is an older place and there is a wine bar below. We could hear a lot of activity outside throughout the week. One night the bar below had music and we could definitely hear it, it was over by 11 pm, so it really didn’t bother us.

Girls trip

It is a lovely home, done up very tastefully , and very clean. Comfortable king sized beds and pillows. The only issue I can think of is the stairs leading to the two bedrooms on the 2nd floor is rather narrow and tricky , and since there is no bathroom on that floor , it was a little tricky if one had to use the restroom at night . Besides that , the location, and the host were excellent

The perfect pivot

My family and I had an excellent experience with this host and home! When I needed to find a first-floor bedroom unit for my elderly grandmother, they were incredibly helpful in locating the perfect home for us in the heart of Charleston. Our original home was one of their bigger multi- floor homes that would have been great too, but we really needed a 1st floor bedroom. The transition was seamless, and the new home itself was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near all the places we wanted to be. Whenever we had minor issues or questions —like the dryer malfunctioning and coffee pot mishap—the host responded promptly and took care of everything right away. Communication was always clear, timely, and very friendly. I highly recommend this host, this home and their other properties for anyone looking for a stress-free stay in well-cared-for property. Thank you for making our time here so enjoyable!
