The Space:
Operational Permit #OP2025-06151
This is a three story well appointed home. Being off the street makes this a quiet place to stay, but a stone's throw from the lively King Street when you don't feel like being quiet. Guests enter from the piazza on the second floor. This home is perfect for the foodie with a large fully equipped kitchen, dining area for 6, and spacious living area. The kitchen includes a full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, dinnerware, pots & pans, and cooking tools. There is a washer dryer on the first floor for those who stay longer and wish to do laundry.
Guests will find the master bedroom with en suite bath on the third floor. The bathroom includes double sinks, garden tub and separate stand up shower. An additional half bath is located on the third floor.
The additional two bedrooms and second full bath are located on the first floor. The courtyard is accessed through one of the downstairs bedrooms.
Guest Access:
This is a private home, guests will have access to the entire home.
The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the Cannonborough Elliotborough neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is considered the most upcoming area on the peninsula. The neighborhood is perfect for a couple or a group who is looking to fully embrace Charleston's unique charm. Step right outside your door and find a wonderfully curated mix of shops, bars, bakeries, and dining. We recommend grabbing a coffee at Island Provisions before exploring King Street, Charleston's ultimate epicenter of shops and restaurants, which is just one short block from the property. Our guests have a wide selection of walkable dinner options, some of our favorites include Chez Nous, Chubby Fish, Bistronomy by Nico, and Vern's. Come experience all that our beautiful city has to offer!
Getting Around:
Most everything is within walking distance. If guests do have a car, we provide ONE off-street parking space. We suggest to bring an economy size vehicle to help with getting around Charleston's narrow downtown streets; although the more adventurous do bring larger vehicles.
Uber and Lyft are always available downtown; so, if you wander far, it's easy to catch a ride back. Charleston also has a free downtown shuttle that has a circuit around the downtown area.

House is clean, and walkable distance to most places we wanted to visit. Host was very communicative, and check in and check out were a breeze. We would return again.
Property was exactly as described. It was very clean and well equiped. Terrific location close to King Street. Property owner made the check-in process easy.
This place was so quaint and nice, all the beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. It was the perfect location!! Definitely would go back and stay there again
Charming property and perfect for two couples hanging out for the weekend. Check in was a breeze and they even took our request to check in earlier. Communication was great the entire time. Wonderful property and stay.
This is the most amazing house and we loved staying here. Made the whole Charleston experience even more special. Great area - lots of good local coffee shops and restaurants. Easy to walk everywhere. Would highly recommend.
We celebrated our 34th anniversary with our sons and DILs. Lovely time in Charleston. We all enjoyed the beautiful accommodations….especially the stained glass windows, kitchen filled with the morning light, and lovely bedrooms!
Fantastic house, beautifully decorated, clean.. great communication with property manager. Highly highly recommend!! You won’t be disappointed!! Great place!
Unique house, very well furnished & maintained. As other reviewers note, it’s easy to walk to many restaurants, shops, and places of interest. The house does have a lot of stairs, and the parking is tricky. Overall, tho, this is a great place to stay.
The house was perfect for us. We have 2 teenagers that enjoyed their own space in the downstairs bedrooms. The kitchen was very well-appointed, and the location was walkable to everything. The house had tons of character and the management company was so easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again during our next trip to Charleston!
We really enjoyed our time in Charleston. The home is located a couple of blocks from King Street in the heart of downtown, but it is in a very quiet neighborhood. It is a newer home built in the traditional Charleston style with all of the amenities expected in new construction. We would definitely stay there again.
This rental in Charleston is in a perfect location. We didn’t need to rent a car because we were pretty much in walking distance to wherever we wanted to go! We took Ubers without any problems when needed. The rental house did not disappoint. 3 Trully Alley is just lovely. The beds were comfortable and the decor is beautiful! We would definitely stay at this charming house again!
The builder did a great job making this home seem like it was built 100 yrs ago. So many nice little touches throughout the home. It was clean and comfortable. The only negative is the parking spot. You better be a good driver to get in and out, but if you are not you can park on the street. I would stay here again.
This property was so charming, comfortable, unique, and clean! My husband, son, daughter-in-law and her mom, and infant grandson stayed here for our daughter’s wedding in Charleston and it was one of the best property rentals we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. There was ample room for everyone and the entire place was pristine. We loved the books and art everywhere, and the kitchen and eating area was especially fantastic for our needs. The property was within walking distance of so many shops and restaurants, including the reception venue. Communication with the property managers was easy and fast. I highly recommend this place but please take good care of it if you stay there!
Excellent location close to all the historic district has to offer. Main living area was great with full kitchen and nice living area. Bedrooms split between 3rd floor and 1st floor provided privacy. One thing to note, the off street parking was very tight and our rented mid sized suv just fit. Anything larger would have been quite a challenge. Would definitely recommend and would return again.
