Fantastic location for a stay in Charleston! Walking distance from the restaurants and shops on King St, and a kitchen with everything you need if you want to stay in. Would absolutely stay again!
Great location and very clean. There were no “hidden “ charges which I have been seeing lately. It was perfect for my two dogs with easy access in and out. The property manager was fantastic!
Great place, very clean. Great location. One thing I would change is the stairs leading up to the apartment. Very sketchy walking up and down them at night.
Overall great place again very accommodating and would enjoy to come back
Very charming, well-appointed flat. Surprisingly spacious inside with a great kitchen and main bath. Beds were very comfy and plenty of linens/towels for our group of 6. Quick walk to King Street. One reserved parking spot near unit was taken when we arrived but communication with property manager was quick and issue resolved in no time. Great stay!

Girls Trip
I wish they would have told us that construction was going on right across the street. No need for an alarm clock because the banging started promptly at the same time very early each morning. It’s an old house so you can hear everything - cars, people talking outside walking by, etc. They did provide noise machines but the one in the master did not work. Had to use my phone instead. It’s right off of King street and I would say fairly close to everything. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any further north. We felt safe walking around and the parking spot down the street was convenient. I would say pictures were accurate but the bathroom in the master has a major down slope to it. We didn’t like that. The stairs leading up to the condo were a little sketchy. Definitely wanted to be careful at night time going up and down the stairs. Overall, regardless of the few negatives we still had a fun and memorable trip to Charleston.
This worked out to be a great place for my family of 5 and small dog to stay during c of c graduation/Mother’s Day weekend. I was confused about the parking situation because when I read the instructions that said to park behind a house 3 doors down I didn’t realize that it was telling me a different house number than the one we rented. A quick call sorted that out and it was fine. A heads up about the outdoors stairs being steep may have been helpful but not a deal breaker by any means. The lighting above said stairs was an issue as we couldn’t find switch or the lights were out. (We could have but didn’t ask about this during our stay) other minor things that would have been helpful would have been hooks in smaller bathroom (or a towel bar to hang wet towels) and a mirror in the front bedroom. Other than those minor issues the location made up for everything els!! We never saw the artist who owns the studio downstairs which was helpful as our small dog may have been anxious about other noise in the building. The hosts were very quick to respond to a few minor questions. I asked the day before our arrival if we might get in early and the response was “well alert you if you are able to.” I figured that meant “no” and let that go. What a nice surprise at about 2pm to get a notification that we could go in. I would for sure stay here or rent with this host in the future.
Our host has been so kind and welcoming. The communication was excellent throughout our stay. Our apartment was very accommodating and clean. This experience has been wonderful. Thank you for your hospitality.
We loved our stay here! It was an amazing location within a short distance to everything. The apartment was adorable and very clean! We loved the space and how willing the hosts were to make our stay amazing!
Host’s communication was great. The place worked great for our quick stay. Be aware, it is an old house. Floors are not level, steep stairs and parking spot is a few houses down. It is in a great central location. We have stayed in this neighborhood before, the college students can be quite noisy in the middle of the night (absolutely not the host’s fault).
Property was great and so close to everything. Had a wonderful time!

Construction chaos
Our stay here was OK. It’s a older home with older problems! The construction that was going on across the street and in the streets, made it difficult to get into the place. I would not recommend this place to an older couple the stairs are very steep to get in!
This is an older property that is in decent shape. The 2 issues we had were the noise and the water pressure. This is a very noisy location not only from college student activity very late at night, but also from a massive construction profect directly across the street. The water pressure is extremely low. To get warm water takes effort. The sinks and showers have to run for several minutes to get any hot water. And it comes out as only a trickle. A challenge to soap uo and rinse. This is a very interesting city to spend time in with a wide variety of things to see, places to eat and active night life. But i cannot give this housing 5 stars.
This residence is not easily accessible for the handicapped. We chose this place because we felt everything is on one floor. There are several stairs leading into the apartment and once in, the floors were uneven. I had family members that were blind with a heart condition and the other member with an amputee which we had to be careful of falling. I was also suprised that several of the dishes were chipped and the throw pillow on the bed was dirty. I expected more from a VRBO property.
