This 3-bed, 3-bath standalone home offers privacy, modern comfort, and Charleston’s signature charm just one block from King Street. Recognized with 5 Carolopolis Awards and the SC Governor’s Award for Historic Restoration, this inviting retreat features a secluded courtyard, and elegant interiors—ideal for families or groups seeking an authentic Charleston experience.
Bedroom 1 – Queen bed with stylish furnishings, ensuite bath, and ample storage. Bedroom 2 – Queen bed, conveniently near a full bath, featuring cozy décor and natural light. Bedroom 3 – Queen bed, adjacent to a well-appointed bath, offering privacy and comfort. Living & Dining Area – Open-concept space with plush seating, dining table, charming Lowcountry design. Kitchen – Fully stocked, combination Keurig drip / pod coffee maker, all the small gadgets. Private Courtyard – Completely fenced, ample and comfortable seating, grill, perfect for outdoor relaxation.
*If needing early check-in or late check-out please DO NOT ask until the day before check-in at earliest due possible last minute rentals. If you absolutely NEED it, I would suggest renting the night prior*

The entire property is available to guests. The courtyard is enclosed and private. There is one parking place dedicated to the property right in front of the cottage. The cottage is a stand alone, one story building so guests have complete privacy. However, Jamie’s office is next door if you need help. There is landscaped parking for 1 vehicle.

The grounds feature outdoor garden areas with fountains, dining areas, fire tables and outdoor grills. In the evenings, this oasis sparkles with outdoor lighting, making it the perfect place for nightcaps after a day of exploring.
House Rules: *Breaking of these rules the guest/guests will be asked to leave immediately without refund* - No parties or events without written approval - No amplified music. - No smoking inside. -Only Small Pets under 25 pounds (maximum of 2) allowed with prior written approval ($200 non-refundable fee per pet).Must have authorization prior to reservation. - Quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM – Be respectful of neighbors. - Check-in: 4:00 PM | Check-out: 10:00 AM. - Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight. - Any decorations must be secured using painter’s tape only to avoid damage to walls. - Guests must follow trash disposal instructions provided by the host. - Please return all items and furniture to their original locations.

Was an absolute Gem of a property, ideal for a family stay. Close to all the action, restaurants and bars were very close. Would love to stay again at this property.
180 St. Phillips was an excellant location for all of our Charleston activities. Very clean, comfortable, quaint and very well stocked. The courtyard was a great place to decompress after a day of visiting the downtown historic sites. We will be back,
This was a great location, very comfortable stay for friends to gather! I met two old friends here for a weekend girls’ reunion trip and this was a perfect base camp. The rooms were very clean and comfortable - it was especially nice to each have our own bathroom. The location is really nice and the owner was very responsive. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great time at the cottage. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was very convenient. The location was good. Quiet area, but close to shopping and restaurants. Also a good coffee place around the corner.
The location was great, close to King Street and walking distance to the attractions in the area. The outdoor sitting area was wonderful to enjoy the evening together with the family.
Fabulous accommodations and perfect for couples traveling together! We were three couples and this property allowed each couple a bathroom. Beds were incredibly comfortable and the property was lovely ! We walked to eat and have drinks every evening and even enjoyed
This location was the perfect place to explore Charleston. The home itself ( we rented the whole thing) was exceptional. It was clean, spacious, and had all amenities. Communication was quick. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to anyone who wants a perfect place to stay!
I will definitely be back to this property to stay for all of our College of Charleston visits. The 3 bedrooms were perfect and the walk to everywhere was just right. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Check-in was the easiest ever.
Stayed at St Phillip’s Square for a wedding. Fantastic property and location. Quality throughout. Only downside was a single parking place for a three bedroom unit.
Couldn’t ask for anything more. House is clean and nicely furnished and location is just close enough to everything without being in the frenzy of the main activity. Parking spot is nice but was able to walk almost everywhere.

I will start by saying that messages can be misleading and taken wrong/not as someone intends. However, I was initially put off by the response I received when I was inquiring about the property. My question was answered I thought somewhat rudely. After getting into the home / we discovered that the ice maker was broken. I sent a message and I never received any type response. The home has a great location.. There are a few minor items that would improve the enjoyment of staying there.
This is exactly as portrayed on the listing. Very walkable to everything. We barely moved our car the entire week. Off site parking for more than 1 car.
Convenient to coffee shop and all dining shopping on Kings St.
