Besides me not realizing what area this place is in (should’ve done a better research). The place is outdated and very dirty… I know it’s on the lower end rate but I would imagine there should be at least a basic standard for any accommodations, regardless of the rate. maybe I haven’t been to many bad places. Maybe this is the new standard for a “lodge”, but it’s definitely not family friendly. I wish I could share the pictures I took. The receptionists were nice though.

I’ve never submitted a review for a property but this one deserves it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ! My children and I are running out of this place first thing in the morning. They have roaches I went to go buy garbage bags to put our stuff in so that we don’t carry any with us. My door wouldn’t open the maintenance man had to come and jimmy the window open and then switch out the locks multiple times keeping our door wide open and my children up. The room smells horribly and the floor is disgusting !! I cannot wait to check out in the morning and go to our next destination. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE !

The front desk was very polite and professional. Other than that, the property is dirty. Room said no smoking but Stunk of cigarettes. The window was broken. The microwave didn’t work. Everything in the room was just wore out and tired. You could tell that a lot of people lived there at the hotel full time. Only positive I can think of was that the room was cheap. The next closest hotel in price that would have been significantly better would have been another $50 per night. So it is what it is. Just putting it out there that it’s cheap for a reason.

Definitely not the best budget motel I've stayed in but it's a bed and a bathroom and I felt safe knowing the man at the front desk is retired military. Good bless the veterans!

This place was legitimately the most disgusting motel. When walking into the room, the overwhelming smell of marijuana both in the room and surrounding the entire hotel was disgusting. It was so strong that you could almost taste it in the room. The curtain by the front door and the shower curtain were covered in mold. The sheets had significant stains everywhere. The air conditioning unit was covered in mold and dust that clearly had not been cleaned in years. Many of the guests were outside smoking marijuana and making inappropriate comments. As mentioned in previous posts, people were outside all night getting into fights, blaring rap music, and pounding on walls as they walked around. This motel is an embarrassment and should be shut down by the health department due to the mold alone.

We booked a room the lady in the front was so sweet and nice but when we got to our room we started to see cockroaches. We went down there to tell her that we wanted to leave but she insisted on giving us a better room and let us check it before, we checked it really quickly. And it was night and day compared to the other room. The only problem is after we were there in the room for about 2 hours we seen a cockroach again. We decided just to leave early you get what you pay for but the lady was really nice. Also we was outside and thought it was really odd that there was a guy circling the building walking around knocking on doors.

In the top five works places I ever stayed
They have parking lights that are brighter than the sun that come right into your room. The air conditioner unit was about to fall off the wall. There's two or three fights that went on throughout the night to place was filthy. There was sand in the bed in the sheets. The floor as I was walking around made my feet black. The TV wouldn't work correctly. Had two little small lamps for lights for the whole unit. It was just a very unkept poor managed place

Very unsafe and drug addics outside my room all night. At one point someone broke into my locked room while I was sleeping. This place should not be on Travelocity.

Terrible.. stay away drug infested people banging on doors at early hours of morning when i had to get up at 4am police were called for other issue a t other room ...you get what you pay for my fault NEVER AGAIN north charlston

Beware
Terrible service all the way around people banging on doors early in morning i had to call front desk to see what the issue was didnt seem to work i had to get up at 4am but I didn't gef no sleep STAY AWAY pay xtra for better motel then i had to deal with roaches plus drug addicts hanging around n ok more for me
