Welcome to The Emerson Suite, a newly renovated top floor unit designed to offer a Charleston getaway like no other. Combining stylish decor with thoughtful amenities, this 1200 sq ft home provides a serene and comfortable atmosphere for your stay.
Upon entering, you'll be greeted by an open floor plan and well-appointed chef's kitchen, featuring quartz countertops, a large island, and new appliances, providing the perfect setting for culinary adventures. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living room and balcony, where you can unwind on the sofa or feel the warm breeze while dining at the balcony dining table.
Rest peacefully in the three cozy bedrooms, each designed for comfort after a day of beach lounging or exploring downtown Charleston. The first bedroom boasts a luxurious king bed and a well-appointed desk, ideal for those mixing work with their tropical escape. Bedrooms two and three feature queen-sized beds. All bedrooms are adorned with Serena and Lily wallpaper and is equipped with blackout blinds and sound machines.
The bathroom offers a luxurious rain shower and a relaxing bathtub, complemented by a dual vanity for added elegance. Essential toiletries, fresh towels, a hairdryer, and clothing steamer are thoughtfully provided for your convenience.
Outside, The Emerson Suite's shared backyard serves as a tranquil oasis for mingling with friends or playing with your kids. It boasts professionally turfed grounds, a large custom pergola with built-in bench seating, a swing, and poufs. The backyard also features six Adirondack chairs, a coffee table, and a large JENGA set for additional entertainment. Fire up the grill and enjoy the flavors of outdoor cooking.
This coastal retreat offers additional amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, a washer/dryer, and free parking for one vehicle. Families with young children will appreciate the availability of a pack + play and a highchair, as well as children's toys and books for ages 0-5. Beach accessories and towels are also provided.

You will have exclusive access to the entire top floor unit, providing you with a private and dedicated space during your stay. Additionally, please note that the backyard is a shared space for all guests to enjoy.
NEED MORE SPACE? We currently have 6 total units. There are 2 duplexes that are side-by-side. The green duplex has The Emerson Suite (top floor-3bd/1ba w/balcony) and The Charles Suite (first floor-2bd/1ba) and next door, the white duplex has The Harper Suite (top floor-3bd/1ba w/large balcony) and The Victoria Suite (first floor-3bd/2ba w/large porch). These two properties share a large professionally turfed backyard. Additionally, a half block down the street, we have another duplex with the Poppy Suite (top floor of grey duplex-3bd/1ba w/two balconies) and the Isla Suite (first floor-4bd/2ba w/porch), both of which share a professionally turfed courtyard. Be sure to check out the individual listings for a full list of amenities.
QUIET HOURS Please note that this listing is situated on the top floor of a beautifully restored historic duplex. Although extensive renovations have been carried out, it is possible to hear occasional noise from the unit below. To ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment, sound machines have been thoughtfully provided in each bedroom. We kindly request that all guests show consideration towards one another by honoring our community's designated "quiet hours" between 10pm and 7am. By being mindful of noise levels during these times, we can maintain a harmonious atmosphere and ensure a restful stay for everyone.
EVENTS Access to the property is restricted to only those individuals included in the reservation, unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon.
NON SMOKING For the comfort and well-being of all guests, our property maintains a strict no-smoking policy. Smoking is prohibited on-site, and any violation of this policy will result in a charge of $250. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a smoke-free environment.
PARKING You will have one parking space in our private lot. Should your group want additional parking, please contact us to discuss options! We also have one Tesla charger which would need reserved ahead of time.
PRE-APPROVED DOGS WELCOME We wholeheartedly embrace our furry friends! We gladly welcome pups to join you during your stay, with an additional fee of $80 per dog, and a maximum of two dogs per reservation. Because you will be staying in a recently renovated unit within a property that may have other guests, we kindly request that all dogs are well-behaved, trained, and considerate towards fellow humans. To maintain cleanliness and hygiene, we kindly ask that pets refrain from accessing the bed, uncovered furniture, and encourage the use of a crate when you are not present, if you believe it is necessary. By bringing your pet, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility and liability for their actions and any potential damages.
For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, we kindly request that dogs are not allowed in the backyard. The yard has been professionally turfed to provide a pristine and pleasant outdoor space. Dog urine can create an unpleasant odor and potentially damage the turf. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping the backyard clean and odor-free for everyone's enjoyment.
CAMERA SECURITY To ensure the safety and security of our property, we have installed exterior cameras. We want to reassure our guests that the footage captured by Ring cameras is strictly confidential and does not violate their privacy expectations. It is important to note that tampering with or obstructing the cameras is strictly prohibited. Any guest found attempting to disable or obscure the cameras may face immediate eviction without a refund. Our intention is solely to maintain a secure environment for everyone's peace of mind.
INCLEMENT WEATHER We have a strict cancellation policy in place. Refunds will only be issued if mandatory evacuations are ordered by The National Weather Service or local government authorities. Please keep in mind that refunds will not be provided if inclement weather in other states prevents guests from reaching Charleston. We highly recommend travelers to consider obtaining travel insurance, especially during months when weather conditions may impact their stay. Furthermore, in the unlikely event of power outages, internet disruptions, or any other situations beyond our control caused by local storms, we will make every effort to resolve the issues promptly. However, we regret that we cannot offer refunds for any inconveniences caused by such circumstances.

This place was great. It was clean and organized and had a nice new kitchen. There was a great coffee shop right around the corner. The host communicated well and we will definitely recommend this place to anyone.
The home was charming and comfortable. It was in a great location close to everything and made for a great stop in Charleston. Would absolutely recommend.
This is our second day at this property and it has been consistently lovely. Very well appointed, nice clean, classic decor and good location in town. It’s upstairs so keep that in mind.
We took a weekend trip to celebrate a family members birthday and introduce a few folks to the wonderful city of Charleston. We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is completely perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we needed, our car never left the parking space provided! I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 yeat and 2 small pups. Great location for being able to walk to Kings St or easily drive downtown. Beautifully renovated, as well. The white noise machines were a great touch, too (especially with a toddler). We also appreciated the couch cover for our dogs. I wouid definitely recommend!

Lovely quiet property. Very clean, beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay with 3 children and our dog. It had all the amenities necessary to prepare meals and a walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Thoughtful inclusions such as a baby bath and stroller.
Just a note to the owners- the bath plug doesn’t stay down to bathe young children, we just showered them instead so it wasn’t a big deal at all- just letting you know in case no one’s mentioned it!
The duplex was beautiful. The living room had less room than the pictures, but a great space for our small family. The location was perfect for walking to coffee shops and restaurants. The yard was really cool, but a little far away from the Emerson Suite and not pet friendly, which I completely understand with artificial turf. Parking was a bit of an issue. The provided space works for 1 small car only. NO other parking around! Brandy was great about responding quickly and offering an additional space but for a cost. We did love the place and will definitely be back in the future.
The property was great, we had plenty of space for five adults. Would have loved to have stayed longer! Only downside was we were just far enough away from downtown we had to drive and park for anything we wanted to do there. But would highly recommend.

Stayed here with our 3 kids and had a great stay! The condo has been beautifully renovated, and seems to have been decorated by a professional. It was clean, and well stocked. Could walk to some cute restaurants/coffee shops and close to where the River Dogs play. Would definitely stay here again.

Just got back from an amazing Girls trip weekend in Charleston SC - this house we rented was perfect for a 3 night stay with a total of 4 ladies! The house is very clean and so cute with all the little touches to make it feel chic yet cozy. Communication with Brandy the host was almost very prompt as well!
Property was very clean and well-equipped, decorated very pretty! Easy to communicate w host. All of the essentials were provided to kickstart our weekend, except no coffee filters and ice maker does not work. There is a cute coffee shop around the corner at 132 Spring, so not bad. Parking is very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and will come back if available.
We had a great mini get-away in Charleston for Thanksgiving break. The apartment was a perfect home base for our family of four, so comfortable, wonderfully designed and stocked with everything we needed, from coffee to shower supplies :) Brandy was an amazing host. She was very communicative and helpful with multiple suggestion for our stay, including trying to help me find dinner reservations for Thanksgiving day, as this was a last minute trip. We will definitely return the next time we're in Charleston and loved the Emerson Suite.
