Close to beach but extremely tired rental.

Very friendly staff greeted us. Opened door to rental and was overcome with mildew smell. Carpet needed to be replaced, walls needed fresh paint, holes in bedroom wall needed to be repaired. Screened in porch was filthy. Exterior doors and porch had dirt and many cobwebs. Terrific location to beach and restaurants. Bike and walking trails were lovely. Would definitely come back if we had different rental!

The condo unit we rented was badly in need of an update. Looked very '90ish. The carpet was frayed and there were stains on the carpet and the furniture. Bed linens in the master suite were threadbare and there was a hole in the sheet. There was also an issue with the toilet in the master suite basically the whole time we were there even though the custodian came several times to "snake" the commode. Lawn care was immaculate and the whole outside area was very well manicured. Lawn mowing begins very early in the morning. "Close to the beach" meant, for us, a walk of about a quarter of a mile to even see the beach. This vacation for us was a once in a decade family vacation and even though we loved Charleston, our accommodations left something to be desired.

Lovely vacation spot

This is a nice place if you want peace and quiet and a simple vacation. It is good for people who want to be out in nature. It's great for a couple, but there is little or no "night life", just the ocean and nature and outdoor activities. The staff of Resort Quest was very good for all our needs. Staff on the Island was also very good. We had a great experience and plan to return.

Very nice condo, very clean. The only issue was the fact that we arrived after 5pm and the map was left in the lock box at the main office. It was after dark, and directions were hand-drawn on the map, and they were incorrect. The wrong condo was circled on the map, and after dark on Kiawah Island, it is virtually impossible to see where you are going, so it took us awhile to find the correct street and condo we were staying in. Other than that, our stay was quite nice.

Taxes and fees added a lot to the total but still a good deal

We had a fabulous time at Kiawah. Because of job obligations we weren't able to stay a whole week so booking thru Resort Quest was the perfect solution for us because it allowed us to rent a villa for just a few nights when most places insist that you book an entire week. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and there were many extras included that weren't even mentioned on the website. I would definitely book with Resort Quest again.

Quest Resorts on Kiawah Island

The entire staff at Quest Resorts was wonderful! Knowledgeable and helpful. The villa's that we stayed in were excellent. They made us feel right at home! The overall experience greatly exceeded our expectations. I would and have recommended Quest Resorts to everyone!
