Charleston vacation

Great place, great location!

We all loved our stay! The house is roomy and comfy. We enjoyed our down time around the dining table and outside under the tree. It’s the perfect house for a group and you can’t beat the location!

Amazing Property!

This property was perfect for our family. Wonderful common areas with separate sleeping areas so family members had ability to rest or stay up with no disturbance to others. Great sound systems, Smart TV’s and so much space. Great location with quick walks for coffee & food. We hope to do many repeat trips!

Great House, Great Stay

The house was very comfortable for the 10 of us in town for a family wedding. It is in a central location and it more than served our needs. We are grateful for such a hospitable place that made things easier for us, one less thing we had to worry about.

Amazing Spot!

A groups of my friends went for a bachelorette and it was perfect! The place was extremely clean, spacious with enough room for everyone to sleep and spread out. The kitchen was great for a night in. And the location can’t be beat. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Charleston!

Great spaces perfect for larger group

I booked this home for a team retreat and it was perfect. The separate bedrooms ensured privacy, while the distinct dining and living areas provided ideal spaces for our meetings. The location was convenient, with easy walks to restaurants. The hosts were very communicative. I highly recommend staying here.

Exceeded expectations

6 couples in town to Celebrate my Husband’s 60th Birthday. The house accommodates everyone without any overcrowding. Beautifully decorated and a perfect location to walk to restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this house to anyone wishing to visit Charleston.

Great Fall getaway

Life-long friends getaway

We were a group of nine women who grew up together. Because of the number of bedrooms and restrooms, we enjoyed a very comfortable stay. The home is beautiful.

Great House in a wonderful location

The house was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Plenty room for everyone. Beds were comfortable and everyone had their own bathroom. Having 2 sets of washers and dryers was great since we were heading to Savannah for a few days and were staying in a hotel there. We played dominos on the large table in the kitchenette. We had a WONDERFUL time and would highly recommend this lovely home. The owners were great too!!

Perfect Downtown Location

Fantastic location within walking distance to bars, restaurants and shopping. We booked for our wedding weekend and New Year’s Eve with out bridal party and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful house with many bathrooms for everyone. Would highly recommend to any group wanting to be close to downtown.

Fantastic location for a big group - we had 9 of us and it worked well. Had some issues with the fire alarm our first night and Chuck came over immediately and got it fixed which we really appreciated. Great communication too.

Girl Friends' Reunion

The property was very clean & comfortable.It had an open floor plan that allowed for people to spread out & gather in large or small groups in the living room, entertainment room, kitchen, or smaller sitting room. The table seats 10 people which was perfect for us.The neighborhood felt safe and the location was close to downtown restaurants, visitor's center, and the city market. Would stay here again.

High school friends retreat

It had all the accommodations to fit 9 gals, great beds, nice bathrooms, conversation pieces all over, enough supplies to last up to a week. The court area outside was so relaxing and a great place to talk and have cocktails. Easy access to downtown by walking or taking the hop on/hop off bus. If you come by car, great parking in court yard. Chuck and Miki are so easy to talk to, very nice couple. They did a great job overall on doing this property to accommodate vacationers like us. Thank you for a great place for our annual get together.

Wonderful, Slighty Quirky & Private Stay for Groups

Property is in a great location within a short walk of multiple restaurants, etc. Interior is renovated, with ample TVs and an house wide sound system. Floors are original wood. Extensive kitchen and bar areas. Very comfortable for large groups, but only one bedroom on first floor. Bedrooms are nicely appointed, but slighty small as would be expected with an older home. We enjoyed the mostly private outdoor area and seating. The landscaping and lighting in entry area provides a pretty, relaxing and safe environment.

Fantastic Wedding HQ in Charleston

My family and I picked this house because it was close to my brother’s home. We were in town for a wedding and needed somewhere nearby with a number of bedrooms to accommodate 9 adults and our 3 kids. Check-in was a breeze. Place was spotless with a binder full of helpful information if we ever got stuck. Having two parking apots was very helpful with the size of our party and the trip we took to the beach, but you could easily do without a car. Quick access to King street restaurants and all of downtown Charleston just outside your door. There was one night where a karaoke party nearby kept our infant son up for a bit, but to be expected in a college town. 10/10 would absolutely stay in this beautiful home again!

Perfect for our family

We needed a place to stay to accommodate our family of 9 which included a set of grandparents! The house is beautiful exactly as described with plenty of room for everyone to spread out! The grandparents stayed in the main floor bedroom which allowed them their own privacy bathroom and a little area if they wanted to be apart from the chaos for moment lol! The upstairs with the three bedrooms was ideal for the babies and their parents who could use all the bedrooms and give the babies a quiet place to nap! The two king size bedrooms are awesome each with their own bath and down below another living room dining room etc and that whole section can be closed off from other side of house which we did a lot to keep the toddlers contained ! And we can't say enough about the location! There's a sandwich shop literally son the corner, a local family owned place two blocks away that had the best fried shrimp that my father in law was craving and you are steps away from king street with tons of restaurants and shops. Location is close to The Citadel, West Ashley and Jones Yacht club (all places we had to get to for daughters wedding). It was an ideal location. The only slight drawback was the set of spiral stairs was hard to navigate with a toddler in arms but they offer an outside entrance too and it was easy and convenient! All in all I would stay here again and if you are considering booking then do it. The owner is great to work with!

Fantastic Charleston Location

Our group of seven girlfriends gathered to explore Charleston and celebrate some milestone birthdays. Miki and Chuck's home was the perfect location to enjoy everything that downtown Charleston has to offer.We appreciated being able to spread out across the two combined units, with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. The living area in the newer unit was nicely appointed and was very spacious and comfortable to relax and hang out after long days walking around the city. The kitchen provided all we needed to prepare coffee, drinks, and snacks (in between the bountiful offerings available at the many delicious cafes and restaurants just steps outside the door).The home is ideally located. Our trip was focused on downtown Charleston, so we didn't rent cars, but had no issue getting everywhere on foot, with King Street just a block away.Future guests should note that while the two units are integrated, the three bedrooms in the older section can only be accessed from inside via a narrow spiral staircase. Several of us opted to exclusively use the outside stairs to access the bedrooms in that section.

Great location but property not suitable for seniors

The property is located in a nice area of downtown Charleston and has parking available for 2 cars. We rented 6-bedroom unit for a family reunion for 3 days but did not enjoy our stay because of couple of reasons. First, the description makes it sound like it is a single home but in reality, it is a combination of 2 separate units that are not connected in the upstairs area where bed rooms are located.Second, It is hard for seniors to go up and down the stairs specially at night when it is dark. Some of the bed rooms are quite small.

Fantastic Property!

Hi. This is a wonderful property. It's beautifully and tastefully decorated and everything feels fresh and clean. The floorplan with the dividing wall between the two halves of the property is unusual, but it wasn't unworkable for us. You just have to take your suitcases for the older half of the unit up the outside staircase rather than trying to navigate the circular staircase inside. The kitchen was well stocked, there is a ton of refrigerator space with one regular and one small refrigerator onsite, the furniture is comfortable, and the beds are good (the kings were a bit too soft for our taste, but that's a preference). The towels and sheets are great too. We had an issue with the wall-mounted iPads malfunctioning, and the host came over right away to assist. I highly recommend this property and will stay again if I'm in Charleston with a group.
