This was my second stay at this VRBO. Great location for walking to sites and parking was a bonus. It was wonderful to have three bedrooms with three bathrooms for a girl’s getaway. Bedrooms are spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. I will be back to enjoy the city of Charleston.
We enjoyed our stay at Emerald House. The host responded immediately to all of our requests. The house was clean and well supplied. The only difficulty during our stay was the parking. It was very tight but our cars did fit. We were happy to have free parking. I would highly recommend the house to others!
We loved our stay at Emerald House. Great location in downtown and so walkable which is a priority for us. Loved that we were able to park two cars at our property. Everything in the house was as advertised and as expected.
Great location and nice place in carriage house at back of property all to ourselves. Parking was a little tight, but manageable. Loved the smell of jasmine on the deck as we drank our morning coffee. Easy walk to King street and all of the sites
This property needs some repainting and some furniture needs reupholstering. We had some issues with non-working doors and ventilation in bathroom but the management company was extremely responsive with all issues. It's a neighborhood that is being renovated and rebuilt so there is some construction around but nothing that really interfered with our stay. It was still nice to sit on the porch because the hours when we sat there construction was over. Beds were very comfortable and the apartment was spotless. Parking really is for smaller cars as others have noted. Great coffee shops around as well as restaurants. Short walk to transit even though we ended up doing Uber more than the transit system because of time.
Great location! It was easy to walk to King street for shopping and dining out. Each couple enjoyed their own private bedroom and bath, with ample parking. Charleston is a fun city and the food did not disappoint!
This is an excellent property, well appointed and it is extremely convenient to downtown and wharf side Charleston. You can walk to most all the main sights if you can handle 1.5 to 2 mile walk at the furthest. On the other hand, Lyft etc is very inexpensive since it is so close. A third option is the local "DASH" free bus service. Awesome house, plenty of room, everything works as it should. Would definitely stay there in the future.
The house is very nice, well laid out and very comfortable. It is in a great location. We took a short, easy walk to dinner and also walked to get breakfast. We have a medium sized SUV and while it was a tight fit and took a little maneuvering to park, it can be done. Highly recommend a stay here.
Our stay was perfect! Description was perfect. The house was so comfortable and well maintained with everything you would need for a perfect stay! (the only thing I would add would be hooks for towels and a full size ironing board)
Nice location & very comfortable unit for 4-6 people. Great porch for sitting in the sun. Bright & airy place with lots of natural light, doors & windows. We’d stay here again!
We had 3 couples. Perfect space for our group. Everyone had their own space and the location was excellent! A little over a mile to the market. Several great restaurants nearby. Everyone loved it!
The Emerald House was perfect for 3 couples for a weekend in Charleston! It was so close to all the fun that the city has to offer. We were definitely spoiled to have 3 rooms with 3 king bed and everyone had their own bathroom with shower. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone traveling to Charleston for the weekend.
