This property was great during our vacation. My wife and our dog really enjoyed walking the neighborhood and seeing all the old live oak trees. The property had a small fenced in yard making letting the dog out easy. There is also a park with a dog park area within walking distance.
Wonderful stay on James Island - house was nicely equipped and clean. Nice residential neighborhood great to walk through. Fenced in backyard. Check out Wild Olive restaurant 8 mins away if you want a nicer restaurant.
The property was very clean , comfortable and uncluttered. It did lack many kitchen amenities for cooking/baking and bedrooms lacked dressers for clothing. Both these shortages can be easily remedied. It was located in a very convenient location.
Perfect little launchpad for lowcountry exploration!
We enjoyed our stay at this little home! It suited our family of 4 (2 kids ages 6 & 3) so well for the trip we threw together to hit some non-beach Charleston highlights. I personally appreciated the coffee pot, coffee grounds, and filters already there - along with hangers in closets. (Access to a vacuum would have made me extra pleased as a person who likes to keep a super tidy space, but the broom did fine.) The access directions initially confused me, but the host company answered my phone call promptly when we arrived. When we weren’t sightseeing, we appreciated Huriyali for breakfast, Wild Olive (for take out as tired parents), Terrace Theater for a rainy day movie, and the Harris Teeter at the end of Maybank for easy familiar grocery needs - all very nearby. Check out was a breeze with very minimal steps. We would definitely stay again!
We had a wonderful stay and everything was great. Our host David was very thoughtful and accommodating, we had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable too!I would love to stay there again!Monica
Clean, spacious, and brimming with artful touches-this home made a great home base for a lowcountry stay. The location in a friendly and quiet neighborhood was a plus. Easy access to Charleston’s many attractions. This gem is one we’ll recommend to friends and family.
Host was helpful, house was clean, but based on other reviews it appears one of the bed frames (green platform) has been broken for nearly a year and not fixed.
We did just a one night stay on our drive from Ohio to Florida, wanted a city with things to do and about halfway. We picked Charleston and found this perfect home for our stop. Great location in a quiet neighborhood where I felt safe walking our dog and close to the spots we wanted to check out. The host is great to communicate with and the house was very clean and quiet to get our rest to continue our traveling. I highly recommend.
We had a wedding and the house was conveniently located to all our event. One drawback was the weather was rainy and the yard did not have much grass so muddy for our fur baby to go out.and hard not to trackin dirt .
Enjoyed the house it was so pretty and everything worked. The only thing that I had an issue with was the green velvet bed. It’s to close to the floor and there needs to be support in the middle. When you wake up you are in a bowl that you have to climb out of.
