This is not a typical short-term rental; it is not a renovated dependency or a newly constructed unit in an old neighborhood, nor is it situated on a tiny lot in a questionable or remote area. The old hardwood floors, tall ceilings, original moldings, plasterwork, windows, and doors exude a special warmth, character, and charm that is very difficult to achieve in new construction. The exterior copper roof and guttering provide additional warmth and character. It`s the real deal!

The host was extremely fast responding to my questions, she was helpful and flexible with our arrival plans. The accommodation was perfect, very clean, well stocked. We really couldn’t have been any happier. Also great location, easy walk or quick uber ride to all our planned activities. Charlston is a darling city.
We just spent a long weekend here and had a wonderful time. It was clean and perfectly suited to our group of five cousins. The location is great for shopping and dining. Jamie was very responsive leading up to our visit and while there, we didn’t need a thing. Great place!
This place was great! Perfectly laid out, had everything that we needed, charming! The property manager was so friendly and helpful! Thanks for a great stay!
The house was perfect for our long weekend! So close to everything and outside spaces to gather were so fun. Super clean and easy to access. Would love to come back!
We had a great visit to Charleston and loved this rental. Everything was well stocked and it was very clean. There is a lot of shopping/places to eat just one block away on King Street.
The location of the property was great one block down from King Street on a quiet street. We were able to walk everywhere. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Jamie was great to deal with. We planned the trip around the Charleston 1/2 marathon which was cancelled (due to snow/ice) but we still had fun in Charleston, shopping and trying different restaurants all convenient to the property.
Perfect location and VRBO for girls trips. Plenty of room for five of us. Kitchen was a great set up for everything we needed. Loved sitting on porch in morning and drinking my coffee. Easy walk to King street. Did some Ubers because of heat. Wish we would have realized sooner there was free bus transportation and a stop very near our place. Amazing restaurants and shopping. Great trip. Will return. Jamie was a great communicator and very helpful.
We liked the style of the house, the location to shops and restaurants, free parking, could walk to many historic places. Coffee supplied. Clean, easy to contact host.
This stay was excellent for what we needed. The host went above and beyond to help accommodate anything needed and she was always quick to answer any questions while staying. We will definitely be staying in one of these houses again. Excellent excellent host.
This place was in a great location, just a block off King Street, where there were bars and restaurants. The apartment was comfortable, clean and stayed cool in the hot July weather. It was great!

Great Time
The house was perfect and fantastic location. Thanks!!!
Great communication with the property manager Jamie. St. Phillip’s Square is walkable to everything Charleston and worked well for our family of 6 plus our dog. One of the bathrooms is a European-style “wet”bathroom- so make sure to understand that before staying. The porch is great and the bedrooms are nicely-sized. There is parking for one car with the unit, but several parking options nearby if you need room for a second car. Don’t miss Baba’s for coffee, the chicken at Bartaco, or oysters at Darling Oyster Bar.
This was the perfect house and location for a girl’s getaway. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated! A few of us are running out to buy those beds! Also a great location...walking distance to shopping and restaurants! We would definitely stay here again!
This property was perfect for our ladies getaway in Charleston! The property is well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the three of us had plenty of space. It was very, very clean. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to all of the wonderful shops and restaurants on King Street. We had great communication with the owners and they were so helpful. Five stars all around and we will come back again!
We had a difficult time finding how to get into the parking lot, we eventually found and was glad for the free parking.

Charleston Vacation
Kitchen was too small, no dining room, the walls I think are made of paper we could hear all of the neighbors just talking. Definitely wouldn't stay there again. One nice bathroom the other bathroom was some kind of a concocted showebathroom.
We rented this house while in town for our daughter’s wedding. It is bright, clean, well-appointed and the most comfortable beds. The property manager Jamie was so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend. Street noise on a Saturday night was significant so bring earplugs.
We enjoyed our stay in this sunny 3 bedroom property. King and queen beds were a plus. Kitchen is galley style, but big enough if you’re mostly eating out as we were. Second bathroom makes creative use of a narrow space but using shower there comes with downsides (e.g. floor wet for a few hours despite good ventilation). Patio is lovely and courtyard seating area is also a plus. Parking is plentiful and easy. Location is excellent for accessing King Street shops and restaurants, and the Market, waterfront, etc are about 20 min walk or short car ride away. We would definitely stay here again.
