"We were extremely happy with our stay at The Mill Forge it’s our 4th time staying there and it was absolutely a treat Room was so spacious comfortable and had everything you can expect Beds are very comfortable bathroom very spacious Check In was easy and the staff friendly and make you feel most welcome With it being only a few miles from Gretna it makes it very convenient

"Unique hotel being so narrow. Consider ourselves lucky getting the front room on first floor. A large room with view onto town center, perfect. Parts of the public areas are showing signs of tiredness but that doesn’t detract from its charm "
"Good price for the night, clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff. The only problem was there was no one on reception at 7.40pm. A note was left on the desk, asking customers to ring a mobile number. But as a person who had just arrived from abroad and didnt have a UK mobile phone couldn’t ring the number. Luckily another customer who was also waiting and had a UK mobile phone, rang the number for me. "
