We swam every day, attempted crabbing, played in the playground and attended all of the activities put on by the den staff. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away."

"Great little guest house and comes with a free car parking space. Donna was an excellent host along with Mia the friendly rescue dog. "We found the staff to be pleasant, attentive and friendly. The hotel is well situated next to the Drake mall and under 10 minutes downhill to the Barbican (fun navigating through the 6 foot wide lanes!). Take the lift to - 1. Very good value for the facilities provided and surpasses rival budget chains on price and location. Although next to a busy dual carriageway, the double glazing and air-conditioning blot out most of the noise. Breakfast was fine and the Engligh is well cooked, albeit limited to 7 items. Pastries run out fast and bananas don't exist! Plymouth is a large University city and so if you prefer a more sedate visit then avoid term times - offering you 4 months in the year. Leonardo does well in this hotel. Enjoy your stay - we did! "
