Quiet retreat with a wonderful host family

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful villa nestled in nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of the greek roads and cities. It was the perfect escape for our family of four. The environment allowed us to unwind and enjoy our holiday to the fullest. The kids loved the private pool. Our host (don't know if I am allowed to say his name here) was absolutely wonderful, and his lovely family assisted him with cleaning, maintenance, and ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. They were all incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the fresh fruits and vegetables provided by our host from his own fields. It added a special touch to our meals and made our experience even more delightful.

Beautiful private villa outside Chania

We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. On top of that Erato was super hospitable and responsive to our needs - highly recommended!

Beautiful villa, far beyond our expectations. Very spacious, stylish and had everything we needed for our family (2 adults and 2 young children). The pool was perfect, stunning views and everywhere is very clean. The hosts were beyond accommodating. They brought us fresh, home grown produce whenever we wanted, gave us amazing recommendations for food and even took us on a boat trip. The villa is very private and quiet, but an easy drive to plenty of traditional tavernas, stunning beaches and very close to Chania (you do need a car). Villa was cleaned and sheets/towels replenished during our stay. Hosts responded very quickly to any questions. I have recommended the place to all our friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. The upper floor has a spacious living area followed by an open and well equipped kitchen. The ground floor has two warm and perfectly designed bedrooms. The house has an excellent air-condition which made it nice to be inside when it was a little hot in nature. The surrounding invites to do nature walks or short travels to beautiful beaches. A minimarket is in walking distance, larger supermarkets in a 5 min drive distance. The host is so nice and warm that we felt home right from the beginning. She (Erato) surprised us with family made jam, wine, olive oil and fruits. We can completely recommend Physis Villas and the owner family.

Our stay at Physis Villas was great. It is situated a bit outside the town of Chania, in a quiet area, perfect for relaxation. We had a great time and we enjoyed our breakfast with local homemade products. Highly recommended, we will prefer it in case we revisit Crete. Thank you for everything :)

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Physis Villas, which is equipped with a dreamy private pool and backyard with a vegetable garden. The house itself is spacious and has lots of thoughtful touches, like homemade honey. It’s a great place to stay if you want to be near Chania but away from the tourist hustle and bustle! We had a little trouble finding it upon arrival, so we’d recommend sorting out clear directions with the host in advance of arriving.
