"The place is magical, right on the water, with a beautiful coral reef teeming with fish below for snorkeling. There's a small kayak for you to use; I used it to watch the sunset and it was beautiful. My wife loved this place. It's quiet, with a very peaceful vibe. It's about a 15-minute boat ride to get there. The owner, Philip, was very attentive and kind. This place definitely has a beautiful vibe; highly recommended."

"Central location, 4 minutes taxi away from the airport, good value for the money, very good restaurant with a view, very friendly personnel. Easy connection by boat taxi from the hotel to any other island location. Mr. Dayner +507-6335-0734 has been an excellent private tour guide and we recommend him."

"Overall, we had a good stay and would give the resort 4 stars. They offer free breakfast and free wifi. Alex was our main point of contact and was extremely helpful, kind, and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and always greeted us with a “hola” or “buenos días.” The food tasted good, but the menu was simpler than I expected, with options like burritos and quesadillas. I was hoping for a little more variety or local-style food. Our room was decent and had a queen-size bed along with a pull-out couch. The AC worked well, and we had hot water in the shower, which we appreciated. One thing to be aware of is that there are workers upstairs above the room. We were told about this during our arrival tour, so it wasn’t a surprise. They do stop working at a reasonable hour (around 9:30/10 p.m.), but they start around 7 a.m., so if you’re someone who likes to sleep in (or go to bed early), the noise may wake you. We also saw three roaches in the bathroom at night during our stay. Being on a tropical island, I wasn’t completely surprised, but it’s worth mentioning for travelers who may not be prepared for that. Unfortunately, it rained a lot and we got sick and spent 2 of our 3 days in bed, so we didn’t get to enjoy the activities offered. The beach is conveniently located directly across the street and the water was very nice. Overall, we still had a positive experience and would recommend for couples/adults. Also, bring cash to avoid 3% CC fee."

"Caracol was rustic but magical. The staff was lovely and it’s so peaceful surrounded by water. Being able to step off my private dock and swim was a delight, and I spent lots of time in my hammock. The restaurant was tasty and the staff was helpful for arranging boat transfers if you wanted to go places."

"The staff is very helpful and attentive, the hotel is beautiful, sparkling clean and the garden is lush. I need to mention that entry with a vehicle can be be difficult because the gate can be opened only from the reception and if no one is available, there is just no way to open it. And it is a longish walk from the gate to the hotel, which we had to do under pouring rain to get to our taxi outside. Other than that, the stay was amazing and even better than expected for the price. Honestly great."

"This was our favourite stop on our 3 week trip. This property is a piece of paradise. The bungalow over the water was amazing - clean and spacious! The breakfast was wonderful and the lunch and dinner options were also amazing. We loved the nature trail and we made good use of the paddle boards on offer. However, the best thing about this hotel is the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like family. All of the staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. They were wonderful with our 16 month old. Special shout out to Rafia (sorry if this is spelt wrong) - he was brilliant with our son! This hotel will always be our favourite holiday destination. Thank you so much everyone, we hope to be vac one day!"
