The staff were all very well trained and helpful, the room was great and the food we had while there was very good. Only slight disappointment was the pool area was definitely set up for exercise rather than relaxation - no comfortable spot to enjoy a drink or light meal outside there or anywhere around the extensive grounds."

"On day 1, I could I have given this property 5 stars for the service they provided. They waiting for us late and provided us with hot dinner even after the dinner service was closed. The staff was courteous and very helpful. But on Day 2 we could see some problems and it could be since it’s a newer property but with the amount they charge we definitely think few areas could be improved. 1. Each bottle of water is charged at 80inr. 2. We ordered tea in the room and on day 2 it was super bad. Felt like old tea was served to us. 3. The room was not cleaned on the second day and the reason was given that we had taken the key and hence they could not. Our assumption was the room would be cleaned with the master key and we were not neeee in the room. 4. The property is very far from the ghats to make sure you have your own vehicle to move around. Since we could not find any decent restaurants or tea around the area. 5. The place is expensive and boasts of being par with 4-5 star properties but we feel a lot of work needs to be done to come par. Pro: 1. The view from the room is beautiful and peaceful. The backdrop of Gange and the birds is amazing in the morning. 2. The food in the hotel is good. We ate only once( dinner) 3. Staff is courteous and friendly. "
