"Great place!"

"The hotel is older, would like hard floors instead of carpet and updated windows. Didn’t like how dark our room was, kept the front curtains closed so people walking by in the hallway couldn’t see in our room. Definitely appreciated the mini refrigerator. They offer a breakfast but it’s pretty basic of toast, mini muffins, scrambled eggs, cereals, coffee and juice. This hotel is wonderful for the price you pay, it’s close to stores and a 6 min drive to Lake Superior."

"Greg and Katie were the best hosts! The property is the best we have ever stayed at because we treasure privacy and nature. You can't see or hear any other properties --you're deep in the Northwoods. We saw Trumpeter Swans, beaver, an eagle, and caught 50 to 60 large and smallmouth bass, one being 19 inches long!We also drove our 4x4 on most of the 20 to 30 (My estimate) miles of on-property atv trails."

"Front desk staff were friendly and helpful at check in. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable and the pillows held their fluff. The breakfast attendant was on top of things and was attentive to making sure food was filled at all times. The hot tub was very warm but the jets didn't work the best. Overall, it was a great stay. "

"This hotel is very conveniently located near to Bell Hospital where we had health matters scheduled. Our room was very comfortable and clean."

"It is a lovely property and location. We had a great time. The kitchen has everything you should need for cooking. It is remote so keep in mind you are about 35 minutes from nearest grocery store. It is also about 2.5 miles on a gravel/dirt road. The hot tub is actually a large jetted bathtub. The views and location are amazing."
