Come and settle in the oldest house in this hamlet of Lochois, 150m from Indre where a private bank awaits you; enjoy a large garden and an excellent location, both for leisure activities and for cultural walks. A family with teenagers, two couples of friends or a group of friends, Touraine is available to you.

You reach the first floor of the small house by an external staircase in the main gîte. It is a 25m² studio, old crooked tomettes and whitewashed walls, equipped kitchen, sleeping on the mezzanine for two people (140cm bed), lounge and dining area, beautiful bathroom. On the ground floor, you enter directly into a large room of 25m², old tomettes and whitewashed walls, with 2 bunk beds (2 beds of 90) and a large old bed (bed of 130). Baby cot and high chair available. Opposite this house: a square grassy courtyard closed by a weeping willow that will welcome your meals, with deckchairs and garden table, swings and BBQ. You can also picnic by the Indre ... at the end of the garden 150m away! The essentials in the countryside: no TV, little WiFi, bikes and canoe kayaks available, come and disconnect in the middle of roses ...

Location: 800m from the Loches national forest, 5km from Loches (its Logis Royal, its keep, its market, ...) 25km from Chenonceau, 30km from Amboise, 35km from the Beauval zoo ...

Activities: bikes or canoe on site, fishing possible, hiking and forest walks at 800m, golf at Verneuil at 15km ...

Linens provided. Baby cot and high chair available. Machine wash possible.
The owner who lives in the main house will recommend tourist sites, local producers (cheeses, wines, etc.) and local shops.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful week at Philippes guest house and we enjoyed every second of it. He and his animals welcomed us with whole-hearted with coffee and cake in his beautiful garden. You can swim in the river at the end of his property and even can use a canoe 24/7 to discover river Indre. 100% recommendation for people who seek some rest and peace in Loire valley.

Du calme et de l'aventure

Nous avons passés un très bon séjour au calme, l'endroit est apaisant et magnifique, les escapades en canoé sur l'Indre sont géniales. Idéalement situé pour des visites enrichissantes. Philippe nous a fait un très bon accueil.

Grand WE en famille avec enfants

Maison atypique, très charmante et bien équipée, emplacement au calme et proche de plusieurs lieux touristiques, la ville de Loches à 4kms est très sympathique et on peut trouver toutes les commodités nécessaires. Philippe est très serviable, la communication impeccable et il est très arrangeant et discret. Merci encore.

Un séjour paradisiaque

Une belle expérience de sérénité dans un lieu plein de charme. Grâce à Philippe dont l'accueil et la disponibilité sont bienveillants, nous avons passé un excellent moment en couple et en famille. Tous ont été ravis et enchantés, du jardin, des animaux, des baignades dans l'Indre et du logement bien équipé et atypique. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

La parenthèse enchantée

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans le gîte de Philippe. La maison, le jardin incroyable, les aménagements extérieurs, le petit ponton sur l'Indre, les animaux (poules, oies, canards) en liberté. Un cadre enchanteur, au calme, en pleine nature. Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par notre hôte, avec des chouquettes maison et des rafraîchissements, Philippe est adorable, toujours de bons conseils pour les visites à faire et les bons plans gastronomiques du coin ;) Le gîte est idéalement situé pour les visites, Loches et sa cité royale est à peine à 10 min en voiture. 30 min pour Chenonceau, 40 min pour Azay ou Amboise. Quelques beaux villages alentours ... bref, on ne s'ennuie pas. Et puis si vous n'avez pas envie de prendre la voiture, une escapade en vélo ou en barque depuis le gîte reste possible, c'est un vrai plus ! Vraiment, une excellente adresse que nous avons adoré ainsi que nos filles qui ont pris un plaisir immense à galoper dans l'immense jardin, au contact des animaux. Nous espérons y revenir prochainement pour visiter d'autres châteaux.

Un très agréable séjour dans un petit paradis

Nous étions fatigués en arrivant, notre hôte nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux et gourmand. Notre programme pour la semaine état chargé, le grand saule nous a accueilli et redonné des forces à l'heure des repas. Il a fait très chaud, la riviére nous a rafraichis. Nous avions envie d'escapades Nature, les vélos et le canoé étaient à notre disposition. Nous avons pu faire tout ce que nous voulions, visiter de nombreux villages et châteaux, et chaque soir profiter d'un havre de paix, simple mais tout aussi enchanteur. Merci Philippe!

Séjour agréable et calme

Excellent accueil avec apéro et spécialités locales. Le gîte était propre et très charmant Grande propriété partagée avec le propriétaire qui est très discret. Localisation excellente pour se découvrir les châteaux de la Loire

Rust, groen en water. Heerlijk

Het verblijf is veel meer dan het huisje. Ook de tafel onder de prachtige treurwilg, de overkapping bij het gras en en langs de oever van de Indre hoort erbij en maakt het verblijf erg aangenaam. Het huisje is op leeftijd waardoor alles wat scheef is maar verder een basisverblijf waar alles aanwezig is. Een aparte ruimte waar de fietsen konden staan en Prettig contact met de host Philippe . De aanwezigheid van de 2 maanden oude gans Zou-Zou was bijzonder en vermakelijk. We zouden zo nog een keer gaan.

Zu Gast im Paradies

Für uns war es perfekt, diese kleine Paradies an der Indre! ein weitläufiges Gelände für Frisbee und Federball, der freie Zugang zum Fluß wann immer wir wollten, es lagen Kanu und Kajak samt Paddel bereit und im Schuppen standen Fahrräder in sämtlichen Größen. Der Eigentümer Philippe ist ein sehr sympatischer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er bewohnt das Hauptgebäude, ist bei Fragen ansprechbar aber lässt den Gästen viel Privatsphäre. Eines ist vielleicht noch wichtig: das Ferienhaus besteht im Prinzip aus 2 Räumen, die durch eine Außentreppe verbunden sind. Der Zugang zum Hauptraum mit Küchenzeile und Bad/Toilette ist vom unteren Schlafraum aus nur durch diese Außentreppe erreichbar. Unser 10-jähriger fand es prima, sein eigenes Reich fern ab der Eltern zu haben, für kleinere Kinder könnte es etwas sehr fern sein.

Super accueil, super jardin. Propice au repos et à la visite des chateaux de la Loire

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Philippe avec un apéro de produits locaux. La maison a été très bien rénovée et le terrain est magnifique. Sans oublier l'accès direct à l'Indre et la possibilité de faire du canoé ou de pêcher. Emplacement parfait pour découvrir la région et les châteaux de le Loire

Sehr schöne Tage am Fluss

Wir wurden von dem über aus liebenswerte Gastgeber Philipp sehr freundlich mit Cidre Limonade und selbst gemachten Windbeuteln begrüßt. Trotz der großen Hitze im Juli 2019 haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt hinter dem Haus nur ein paar Schritte entfernt fließt ein Fluss in dem man herrlich baden kann und mit den bereit gestellten Kajak auch seine Runden drehen kann. Die Unterkunft in dem alten Haus ist einfach, aber das alte Gemäuer sehr originell und liebevoll eingerichtet, der Garten ganz großartig und besonders das Frühstück im Schatten der großen Trauerweide hat uns ausgezeichnet gefallen. Fahrräder stehen ebenfalls zur Benutzung bereit. Der Ort Loches ist circa 2 km entfernt und eignet sich wunderbar zum Einkaufen für das nötigste. Wir können den Aufenthalt bei Philipp sehr empfehlen.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end chez Philippe, dans cette petite maison, avec le jardin magnifiquement aménagé ! Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Philippe, malgré notre arrivée tardive. Magnifique!! Just what we were looking for as a family wanting self catering in a rural setting.

Philippe was very welcoming and very helpful in advising what to see in the surrounding areas. Great place to base yourself for visiting the Loire Valley if you are looking for self catering and a rural setting. The historic building had everything needed for a self catering accommodation and Philippe has created a great ambiance, particularly the dining table under the willow tree and the outdoor lounge area. We enjoyed swimming in the river and BBQ's every evening. No wifi which the kids found frustrating and great for the adults wanting to escape. Will definitely return next time we explore the Loire Valley again.

Calme et près de Loches

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le gîte est très agréable malgré les pièces séparées. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil, et tout était bien préparé. De plus la région est riche en patrimoine et le propriétaire la connaît bien. Si vous aimez la campagne, les châteaux et la tranquillité alors n’hésitez pas.

Calme et quiétude

Le cadre est calme, verdoyant et bien situé pour découvrir la Touraine et ses châteaux. Les enfants ont bien profité du grand espace. Nous regrettons d'avoir pas eu assez de temps pour profiter de la baignade dans l'Indre qui s'écoule derrière la maison. Le propriétaire sympa et attentionné, prodiguant de bons conseils pour la découverte des environs. Studio propre, refait à neuf; ambiance chalet de montagne. Nous vous le recommandons si vous aimez la nature et le calme.
