"The very kind hostess gave us great advice during our weeklong stay. The gite is fantastic - comfortable beds, ample bathrooms, and nicely equipped kitchen. Avernes is a lovely town, close to many other small villages and beautiful countryside, but also easy drive to Monet’s house and gardens and larger towns. "Excellent trip. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Ideal location in a quiet village but close to bigger towns within a 10-20 minute drive. Use of the garden was a good facility too. Owner was very approachable and amenable and spoke excellent English with us which was appreciated. Would have no hesitation in returning here and will recommend to friends and family as an ideal accommodation in a good location. 😊"

"When I first made the reservation, I had actually booked for a different cottage on the property and the one that we got was booked by someone else. It was an absolute wonderful accident. The cottage is a one story with two bedrooms and fit our family of five perfectly. Even though it’s on the property and close to the road it’s surrounded by trees and it’s very quiet. There are horses right behind the house, and a beautiful area for the kids to run. I would live in this house permanently. I do...
