My mom and I enjoyed a lot of our two-night stay. We got a river-side room and it was large, clean, comfortable and cosy. There is a mini kitchen to share which we used for boiling hot water and storing fruits. The location is great, very close to the castle and the inner city, but is away from the crowd. Everything is within walking distance. The host, Monica, was super friendly and nice. We had to leave early in the morning and she was able to manage to get our breakfast a bit earlier than the usual time. The breakfast was also good. You can also experience a bit cave style in the dining area. If I visit CK again I would def stay here!

Best location in Cesky Krumlov
This location cannot be beaten! That's really the best thing about Penzion Kapr. Their breakfast is nice too, and they have a parking area, which is great, even though it's quite scary to drive the super narrow streets to the hotel and you'll probably get lost for a few minutes before you find the right way there. The only complaint I have is that some of the walls are a bit thin. I was travelling with my husband and my parents, and my dad -- God bless him -- snores quite loudly. Well, our rooms were right next to each other, and my bed and my parents' bed were against the same wall, so I could hear the snoring way too well. Had to use a sound app on my phone to drown the noise so my husband and I could sleep -- not an ideal situation.

A nice, charming hotel by the river
It was a nice, charming hotel by the river, with lots of space and a view to kill. We came early tham the usual check in , but she the receptionist was accommodating enough to take us to our room and place our luggages while we head to the town and the castle. I love our location, very quiet and yet very close to the bus stations ( we took the bus from Prague) and the city center. The room condition itself is great, despite its age_very medieval. However, when we came in , it was very warm, we had to open the windows until the morning to get some breeze from outside. Bed is confortable, bathroom is huge , big bathtub but no shower. We had to leave early in the morning for Salzburg and they were nice enough to start their breakfast from 7:30 instead of 8:00 am. Overall it was a wonderful stay. I would come back and stay there again.

Nice hotel with a great location.
Monica was very welcoming. Loved the view from the room. Good linens were provided on a comfortable bed. Easy to access the town center and the castle. Nice walk up to the Krizovy Vrch (Hill of the Cross). Recommend an overnight visit to Cesky Krumlov.

Stayed here only one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. Room had lots of charm and was thoughtfully decorated. Right on the water and away from the crowds, but l an easy five minute walk to the center of everything.

Can be challenging to locate, however if you park and walk it before carrying luggage then you will be pleased with the location. Staff friendly and accommodating since I arrived after their 6 pm desk hours.They left a phone number on the door to call when arriving so they can assist you with check in. They do charge extra for arriving after 6 pm. Breakfast was a good European spread and you could eat inside or outside.

Period setting hotel - Middle Ages.
An experience of what is like to live in the early 20th century - 1905-1910. Oak floors that creak when one moves around the room; a well set-up sitting chairs to lounge; a huge double bed with a wooden headboard and by the way, wide-sized pillows , too. A crucifix hangs that signifies the religious nature of the owner. Heavy wooden doors with iron-cast levers. That truly reminds me of Medieval times. Paintings adorned the room. Welcoming sight was a tray of Christmas cookies which we happily devoured upon arrival. Got the ' Comfort Room' -'Stephan' inscribed on the door which has a pleasing view of the Vltava River snaking its way to the town. Although, the theme is in the Middle Ages, the bathroom has all the modern amenities. I noticed the small details of hooks and there where one could hang towels, small hand towels or what have you.

Embarrassed driving to the hotel. front road is quite narrow passing by car, but can pass thru. The room was antique and wide, breakfast soso.

We had rented the largest room with the unique bathroom. It was very spacious and decorated with older but comfortable furniture.

Fairy-tale Cesky Krumlov
Pension Kapr is a 500-yr old building in beautiful, historic Cesky Krumlov. It is rather hard to get to from the train station (take a taxi), but the location is ideal. Our room overooked the Vltava River, and the town is right across it. The building is 500 years old and has been made into 4 guestrooms with charming features, including 2 large windows, a comfortable bed, and a sofa, plus a large bathroom. There is no shower, only tub, and the doorways are low, so anyone taller than 5'9'' has to duck.Breakfasts were served in the adjacent house and were delicious. You can walk from the Pension Kapr up to the castle in 15 to 20 minutes; the rest of the town is just as accessible. We would stay there again.

Quaint cottage feel
Location was quiet but close to town. Breakfast was perfect, house is very well appointed. Our room had a bath, no shower, other rooms were left open so we could view - even more beautiful.

This was a very cute, small place within a few minutes walking of main part of town. Very sweet owner, great little breakfast included. Felt like a B&B. Would recommend to anyone! Room also had a great view of the river.

Nice family hotel in a beautiful town.
My wife and me stayed one day here in October this year. Very pleasant stay here. The host is very nice and prepare early morning breakfast. The hotel is just on the side of the river. Easy to walk to the town. It has everything you need. The room is perfect for a couple. Overall it is a great value. Highly recommend.

A really nice intimate B&B. Great breakfast every day. A beautiful location right on the river, and a very short walk to the old towns square. Some really fun local bars on this side of the river that most tourists don't seem to visit. Great stay.

500 year old hotel
This is a family-owned and run hotel, very friendly and spotless just a short walk from the center of town. It is so old but so nice, and 100% worth a visit.

Great, atmospheric choice in beautiful town
Stayed here for one night in a beautiful room overlooking the river and old town. This is an old house with wooden floors and exposed beams on the ceiling. It is super atmospheric! We were warmly welcomed and breakfast was also good, served at a communal table. There is parking available although it is hard to find if you haven't checked with the hotel beforehand! Would thoroughly recommend this place.

Very pleasant stay in Cesky Krumlov with my family, we stayed 2 nights in the cozy Penzion Kapr just few minutes walk from the castle."Stepan" room is wonderful and breakfast was delicious.

Could barely sleep unfortunately. The room has no air con or even a fan, and notwithstanding this, heavy duvets are on the bed with no top sheet. Had to sleep with the windows open, but this meant being woken numerous times by noisy people in the street. This went on til about dawn. There was a washing machine in the bathroom, but we could not get this to work. No instructions on this, nor did the host tell us how we could contact her for issues such as this or the heat. Breakfast not suitable for Westerners.

Great location. Owners were lovely. Breakfast was very nice. Room was a little small. Husband bumped his head on the doorway to the bathroom more than once. He is however little over 6 ft tall. I didn't have the same issue being only 5ft. Close to everything.

Great location right on the river .
The house is apparently 500 years old. The present owners have lived there for the past 25 years and have renovated the whole house, keeping as much as possible to the heritage aspects, while modernizing the bathrooms. Very interesting house with a medieval touch. A basic, but good continental type b'fast. Good facilities, bed with large European type pillows and very clean.

Nice family hotel
This family hotel is facing river with nice view. Owner is very nice. They prepared breakfast early for us 'cause we were leaving before 8am. Room is clean with detailed decorations. Bathroom has a large tub but no shower. There is no front desk. Owner usually is not there. But we can call them. Overall our stay is nice and convenient.

Good place and price
We loved it. You're right on the river, with great views of the church. All attractions in the town are easily walking distance away, and the bus stop is about a fifteen minute walk, assuming you're riding in from Prague. The rooms were clean and larger than we expected. We stayed in the Jonas room, and it was plenty big for the two of us, even though the building is 500 years old. Honestly I don't think the pictures did the room justice. Breakfast was very good. Our host gave us maps and some restaurant hints which were much appreciated. Only downside was the door height - I'm five ft ten and had to watch my head. Overall great price for the location, we'd stay there again if we came back. I'd recommend Penzion Kapr over the fancier places in town.

Romantic stay in old fishermans house
We stayed in the Anna-Maria room, on the ground floor, it was stunning! There is so much character to the room, it is built into the cliff and there is rough cut stone in the bedroom and bathroom. There is also a lovely big bath where you can relax after a day exploring the beautiful old town of Cesky Krumlov. I couldn't recommend this place enough, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the room just amazing. Highly recommended. Really wished we could have stayed longer!

4명 가족 숙박, 방이 크기는 충분이 넓었음. 방에서 창문으로 보이는 뷰가 멋있음. 주차는 숙박시설에서 조금 떨어진 곳이나 충분이 걸어다닐수 있는 거리이며 입출차가 자유로움 (단 호텔로 들어오는 골목이 좁음) , 조식은 충분이 맛있음. 걸어서 관광하기에 좋은 위치에 있음.

Wunderbarer Urlaub! Empfehlenswert :)
Perfekte Lage, um die Innenstadt zu erkunden. Ein bisschen ruhig gelegen, aber trotzdem direkt am Geschehen. Sehr gutes Frühstück, bei Sonne auf der Terrasse. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.
