"The property is very well located. Near the train station and easily walkable to everything in the city. It’s a beautiful historic building with a lot of charm. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. My wife and I don’t speak any Italian and had no issue with communication. The staff go above and beyond to be helpful. Unfortunately I’m only giving the property 3 stars because the beds are very uncomfortable and the air conditioning doesn’t work very well. We were in Italy for 2 weeks and stayed at a number of different hotels, and this one has the worst beds of any of them. They feel very old and don’t have a pillow top or memory foam so you feel all the springs. Very old school for a mattress. The AC also didn’t work very well, but it was a hot day when we stayed there so it may not be a big issue much of the time. If they would replace the mattresses with something from this decade I would probably give the place 5 stars. Unfortunately the bed is one of the most important parts of a hotel for me so I don’t think I would stay there again unless they replace them."

"Hotel was clean and conveniently located near to the train station. Room was large, bed comfortable. It was very noisy on the street even with the windows closed but that is to be expected in an older property. The breakfast was plentiful and varied."
