"The hotel is beautiful, and the nearby beaches are stunning and within easy reach. The amenities are good and well maintained. The breakfast is outstanding—one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had. The only downside we experienced was the beds. They were extremely firm, making it very difficult for us to get a good night's sleep during our stay."

"Shana by the Beach was the perfect completion of our 8 days in Costa Rica. Friendly staff, nice meals and great to have the beach or pool for relaxation options. Don't leave your breakfast unattended. Those cute little monkeys will steal it, but it is quite entertaining to watch."
