Peaceful Waterfront Escape on Withlacoochee • Private Dock, Old Florida Charm

"This house was perfect for us to have a nice quiet getaway in a really cool / relaxed riverfront community. Very pretty backdrop. Property was very nice, clean, well-stocked, and in good condition. Beds are comfortable & furniture / decor was nice. The lower level breezeway with a hammock, ping pong table, & bar was great for hanging out. Fishing was good off the dock; we caught a 20 pound channel catfish & several 2-3 pound saltwater cats; saw a 30-40 pound alligator gar and a large snook. There’s a 100yd walk to a great restaurant & bar w/ live music. Yankeetown is a neat area and is fairly close to multiple different points of interest. I’d definitely stay here again as I thought it was an excellent value."

"Absolutely love the place! And we hope to book again we enjoyed local restaurants and attractions —a day trip to Manatee Springs. Enjoyed the kayaks beautiful sunsets and wraparound porch was really nice and along with outdoor-seating. All the accommodations of Home and more. Can’t wait to return. Absolutely love the artist touches! Very accommodating!!!"

"Enjoyed our stay, highly recommend staying at the Fishtail Lodge. If you need a golf cart rental get that from Bobby Sea, local neighbor, he will hook you up. Great neighborhood, and friendly neighbors. Can't wait to stay here again, so peaceful with breath taking views."

"The house was perfect. Great location, it had everything needed for a short stay. Coffee keurig pot with a few pods, new frig, the house was way more than we expected. Covered place for your car or truck, with golf cart. Big tv, great recliners, host was great."
