We really enjoyed our stay at the Chalet. The home is very comfortable and it was close to family that lives nearby. While the reason for our stay was very sad, our niece's celebration of life service, it helped to have a peaceful, quiet and relaxing place to retreat to. We had a wonderful two night stay this fall, in this perfectly appointed home. There are so many extras, like a coffee/tea station games, gas grill, fire pit, both propane and wood burning.Everything was perfect for a couple of families to make great memories together.All of that said the absolute best part of this property is the amazing host Matthew, from the moment of booking all the way through checkout follow up this is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in.

Our experience was excellent from the second we arrived to the second we left! The host checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. He was friendly and available for any needs - and included some special touches to make us feel welcome! The house is set up well to accommodate its guests. We liked how each floor had its own bedroom and bathroom. And, the house had plenty of amenities to keep us entertained when we weren't out exploring the area. Highly recommended!

Perfect Leelanau Getaway

Such a great spot! Not only is it super conveniently located in central Leelanau County but it’s spacious and has the perfect backyard for summer bonfire nights. I will definitely be staying here when I come to Northern Michigan!

Great introduction to Michigan

Was our first time to the Michigan area and we had a great time. Close location to great beaches and towns. Only stayed for three days and didn’t get everything thing in one we fell in love with the beach! Which was cold but didn’t bother the little one a bit. The location was great as we were just a quick drive to the beach, you could walk to a golf course and we were centrally located to drive to some of our favorite towns.
