We biked, fished, hiked, played golf at Manitou Passage, watched beautiful sunsets at the beach, and played games around the bonfire. Her home is so serene and well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, and games. We would love to return to her Old Mountain home if we go back to the area. "We had a great stay at Johnny's cabin. We all cant say enough about it! The location was right in the middle of everything we wanted to see. Johnny was a great host and quick to respond. He's made some great decisions in creating his little getaway. It's definitely an older cabin, but with some interesting additions. First off, it's much bigger than you expect. "This house was perfect for our family, visiting for a wedding in nearby Suttons Bay. The place was very clean, with rustic charm and a lovely outdoor area and hot tub. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities. There was some confusion about the number of people included in the price. I assumed that because it stated that it slept 10 that all would be included but there is a charge for each person above 6. (We had 7.) Still very much worth it and we throughly enjoyed...

"Loved the campfire at night, the privacy, but ease of location. It was so close to the lake and close to the small town. Kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals there. We felt like the owners had us in mind when they prepared things. The garage space was a great bonus for staging tubes for the river or for the kids to hang out. Pictures don't entirely capture how much space is in the house. Would definitely stay again!"

We spent significant time looking at options that would accommodate our number plus the mix of individuals. We found a nice, wooded Chalet VRBO that met our needs. "Beautiful home, beds/furniture were very cozy, kitchen was decently stocked with basic cooking needs. Also really enjoyed the layout of the home. The walk to the beach was across a busy road, so water access isn’t necessarily right off the property but still easy to get to. I’d say overall a great place to rent - great location!"

"Came to get away from the daily grind looking for peace and relaxation. It delivered! The seclusion, wildlife, fire on the river was exactly what we all needed. The house was cleaned very well and the AC was great during the hot weather. "
