A wonderful Family Thanksgiving
We needed a large house for three families (and two dogs) for Thanksgiving and this was perfect -- lots of room in the living area for the four pre-teen kids to play games and hang out, and still more room for the six adults. A large fireplace in the living room provided warmth and atmosphere. The large industrial kitchen was perfect for preparing the Thanksgiving feast -- fully equipped with everything we needed. Whenever we had a question, Tai, the caregiver, was right there with the answer.
The grounds are beautiful and it is somewhat secluded - about a mile up a dirt road from the highway. The only "cloud" over our stay was from the weather. It was overcast most of the time, with a little rain the day before wet arrived, so it was chilly and damp outside - not as much hiking as we had hoped. Rich and Renee, the owners, were very personable and thoughtful in providing everything we needed for a wonderful stay in their home. This was a very memorable Thanksgiving and we look forward to returning to the CazSonoma Inn for another visit in the spring when the weather should be warmer.
