"The hotel was great! Clean and beautiful, food from the restaurant was good. I just think that I came at the wrong time (rainy season) we were stranded in the hotel because there only street to and from the hotel was flooded. Couldn’t get a ride out of the hotel.
Most of the staff was kind and helpful except from one, she always had an excuse as to why something can’t be done or amenities can’t be used. Caught her in a lie or maybe she just didn’t want to do something, not sure."

"It has potential but some of the areas were not available not because it’s unfinished but they make it open only for private function. (Ei:Mini Japan)
The employees are kind and friendly but the staff at their Amare Restaurant wasn’t so helpful and friendly m. The rooms are nice but some areas are unclean most especially the swimming pool which is so important that they should keep clean. There are too much mosquitoes as well! They need to do something with that. The water in the room has issues...

Just ok. The good: quiet, good relaxing massage, nice serene well maintained gardens.
The bad: far far away from the main city cttr or restos, no Taal volcano views, room/villa "Alaga" in serious need of a good room freshener or airing as it has a very musty old room smell, bathroom shower require plumbing as water not draining and quite disgusting, tiles coming off - time to renovate guys, room rate too expensive for what we got (we already stayed at other hotel near this area with...

The ambience of this resort is what appealed to me. I have been here twice now and because of the Very peaceful surroundings on the beach I am completely relaxed.

I was made to feel like a VIP guest and the staff were very pleasant. The swimming pool, spa and massage options complemented the relaxing atmosphere around the resort. The resort was central to all of the cities we visited including a beach-side resort. This meant less traveling and more time spent on our planned activities.
If I go back to the Philippines I will stay here again. The views of the grounds, lakes and jungle was exceptional.

All the staff were very nice and helpful, all amenities were clean and well maintained, the bed was very comfortable. Super relaxing in the bar, restaurant and smoking area. Everything you need is on site and they have a good selection of both Western and Filipino cuisine.

Fortunately I had read comments posted on this site prior to going there, where I learnt that the hotel was very isolated, down a very narrow road. This information was very accurate. However, the description of the the beached not prepare me for what I encountered. Firstly it is a black sand beach. Whilst the hotel keeps the immediate beachfront clean, and free from litter, the beach and surrounds on either side left a lot to be desired, with littered debris covering the beach in both...
