"Front counter staff wasn't as helpful or friendly as we've experienced in the past. When asked about the hours of operation for the restaurant the primary response was "we don't have anything to do the restaurant". That's understandable, except it carries the same name now AND is attached to your business. Some grace toward that confusion would be nice. In the Carriage House cabin the AC couldn't keep up with the heat (only a high of 94) so room was stuffy and not as comfortable as expected. Door was difficult to close (latched) without using the deadbolt."

"Overall I had a good stay. The location was very convenient. We went to Six Flags and the hotel is only 10 mins away. The room and overall hotel are very clean. One thing to consider is that the king suite room does not have a pull-out sofa. It would have been nice to know this before booking as I had 3 people in my group and the sofa barely fits a child laying down. Therefore, I had to go and buy a blow-up mattress. Other than that the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We used the pool which was nice but could have used a cleaning and I had to ask several towels."

"While most of the services were good, the elevator situation was disappointing and affected the overall experience. One of the two elevators was out of service during our stay, leaving only one available. Unfortunately, the remaining elevator had a noticeable and unpleasant smell, which made using it uncomfortable. For a hotel at this level, I would expect better maintenance and attention to basic cleanliness."

"The room was very clean, hotel was also very clean. Only thing was my microwave in my room didn’t work and there was some trim falling off the bottom by the tile in the kitchen. The staff was amazing and super helpful. Felt very safe as you can’t enter the buildings without your card. There was complimentary breakfast although I never got a chance to try it. The bar and restaurant looked amazing and they had starbucks coffee shop too! Parking is $10 per night. They also let me early check in!"

"Simple but very, very clean. Small pool but it was sparkling clean. Parking lot was clean, trash picked up regularly - the staff is trying hard. I found the bed (single person) to be fine. The room is small, but it was a short stay and I did not plan to camp out in my room, so fine. Towels are on the thin side (I suspect a lot get stolen) so just bring a nice fluffy one from home and bring one for poolside and you will be fine. My fridge did not cool but there was ice available in the lobby. The only unexpected is that it is close to Six Flags over Texas (+) but be careful what you ask for - well within range for music from the ride. You and all the neighbors will enjoy hearing that until they close the park at night (nothing the hotel can do about that). My dogs were frightened by the Sat evening fireworks from the park, but you could probably go out and watch them from the parking if you were so inclined! Great place, we will use it again as needed. Thank you for a great stay."
