"We enjoyed the location within old San Juan; it is centrally located to walk around with many choices to restaurants. If you are driving it is not easy to find street parking. There is a nearby parking garage that charges $25 for 24 hours. It's a small hotel; the front desk is very welcoming. Our room was clean and we had no issues besides our bedding feeling a little damp, but they gave us dry sheets to replaces with no problems. The bathroom was clean, but they need to do a little updating to give it a better look and feel."

"I came back to visit PR for the 1st time in 30 years. I grew up here and as a child I remember how iconic El Caribe Hilton was. During my stay, all staff members were very friendly and very respectful. Great customer service. The main lobby and its amenities were awesome. ROOMS however need updating. We stayed in a king balcony with ocean view and the room was clean but run down."

"I liked the location, pretty convenient with shopping and restaurants nearby. Ample room, overall clean. Had to disconnect 2 air fresheners as the smell was too strong. Since I arrived late to the room , didn’t have time to contact staff to request a change of bed fitting. It had stains of what appeared body fluids. I had to use the cover of the sofa to put it on top of the stained fitted. Definitely it’s time to change that."
