"I travel a lot. Best check in ever! I don't know the gentleman's name, but super funny! Told him I HAD to put this part of my stay in my review. Easy check in, lots of parking, clean pool, playground, picnic tables, grill should you want it & the hiking mountains are very close (why we were in the area). We were on the 2nd floor and it was so very quiet. Rooms and stairwells definitely need some updating, but very clean. Bed I found was really comfortable. Restaurant next door is convenient. Good food, but only sell their own beer (so if you want a Mich Ultra like myself, you will be disappointed). We booked at the very last minute so the price was high, but I'm thinking if you plan ahead it would be much less than what we paid. Absolutely the place to stay if you are in the area. "

"We were in the area for one night and thought that staying on a boat would be a fun memory for everyone. We enjoyed the peace and quiet that came from being on the boat, surrounded by nature and watching the wildlife. (We saw a beaver, bald Eagle, & random birds) The boat itself was well kept and ready for us when we arrived. The beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Communication with the hosts and check in went smooth. We even booked a charter with them the next day and had an amazing ride out to the lighthouse, which my mother thoroughly enjoyed. I would totally stay there again if ever in the area."

"The yacht was clean and well maintained but had a slightly dated appearance. The stairs to enter were daunting but we managed them without difficulty, all of us being in our 60’s, and reasonably fit. Melissa was a charming host and answered any questions we had. The yacht contained anything we could want, great shower, restaurant on the premises, walking distance to town. It was an excellent halfway point to meet up with my sister from PA and us from Cape Cod, MA! Thanks, Melissa, for the nice stay."

"Vintage roadside motel vibes. The very kind owner checked me in around 8:30pm. The room is quirky/quaint with 1980s feel/decor. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, and it was completely quiet at night. (In fact, I think I may have heard Coyotes in the distance). Internet worked well cable television. If you are looking for fancy, this is not for you. If you are looking to crash for a night or two at a good rate, this is a great option. The mattresses were a bit hard, and covered with plastic beneath the sheet, but again, this was perfect for a night's stay. Check out Red Star cafe in the morning in Cairo. "This apartment was exactly as shown, bright modern but cozy and the bed, pillows and blankets were very comfortable. Check in was very easy and 2 feet from the parking space. Willas, the coffee shop is right down the block and the food was yummy and they have gluten free choices but get there early. The catskill downtown is adorable and 2 min walk from the apartment as well. Creekside restaurant was a disappointment but Hemlock Bar had the best smash burger and cocktails ever and it is walking distance. Hudson NY was awesome too where there are many choices for great meals especially BabaLouies thin crust pizza soups and salad and the downtown is darling. Lastly we hiked to Kaaertskill falls which was still a sheet of ice in many spots but is mostly flat and the view was worth the fear of breaking a hip at our age lol.
