"★☆☆☆☆ — Disgusting Room, Ruined Mother's Day, Zero Accountability I am updating this review because, after weeks of attempting to follow up — multiple phone calls, emails, and leaving my phone number directly with the property — I have received absolutely no response. The staff on the morning of checkout were unhelpful and rude. This hotel has shown it has no intention of taking responsibility. Here is what happened: We checked into a room with an overwhelming urine odor. When I bent down near the bed, the smell was so intense it was unmistakable — the mattress was heavily saturated with urine. My two small children and I had already been on that bed. The room also had hair ties on the floor from a previous guest, a visible water stain in the toilet, and clear evidence it had not been properly cleaned. We were moved to a new room and offered 2,000 IHG points — roughly $10 — as compensation. We lost hours of our Mother's Day repacking and showering everyone down. We missed our Riverwalk dinner reservation. There was no sightseeing. I was up every hour through the night sick. The staff who handled the room swap were polite — I want to be fair about that. But politeness doesn't excuse putting a family with small children in a biohazard room, and silence doesn't make it go away. I have escalated to IHG corporate. Families traveling with children: inspect your room thoroughly before settling in, and think twice about this property."
