This is a beautiful apartment. We loved the space and it was cool and quiet (although, we do sleep with a noise machine). It was very comfortable and a quick walk to the key areas of Catania.

The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable. Had everything we needed for our stay. Lorenzo and his counterpart were amazing. I have stayed in a lot of rentals and this by far was the best. Excellent location, beautiful apartment, comfortable beds, great amenities…seriously, absolutely perfect! The hosts were wonderful and extremely welcoming and communicative. All questions answered within a hour or less and so incredibly kind. Great visit

The apartment was as described online. Clean and comfortable. The location was a short walk to sites in the area. Lorenzo met us at the apartment and made certain we could find everything we needed as well as providing a list of recommendations for restaurants. Lorenzo was very helpful, he carried our luggage and drove with me to find parking. The apartment was very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We are now staying in Rome and I wish we still had the same apartment. Blackout window covers were also a plus. Highly recommend.

A Gem in the Heart of Catania

Beautiful and grand first floor apartment in the centro storico, the heart of Catania. It is located within brief walking distance to the duomo and other main attractions. Every amenity has been considered and thoughtfully provided, including cozy bedding, a well stocked kitchen, and a comfortable sitting area, contributing to its homey atmosphere. In addition, the apartment is spotless. The terrace is a wonderful place for an afternoon aperitivo, an evening meal, or a relaxing night. Not for those with restricted mobility, as there is no elevator, but an easy climb for anyone else. Highly recommended!

Glorious accommodation

We arrived at the apartment very frazzled after the white-knuckle experience of driving in Catania (Concita, our co-host, was on the premises to help us check in and she couldn't have been more understanding and sympathetic). Initially (and ignorantly), we had some trepidation about the unprepossessing neighborhood, but felt immediately at home once we stepped into the HUGE, spotless, well-equipped and absolutely beautiful apartment. As we soon discovered, all the sights and vibrant street life (duomo, fish market, shops, restaurants, etc.) were literally around the corner: the apartment couldn't be more conveniently situated. In short, all the details about the property are accurate and as described. The "Green apartment" (with its lovely plant-filled and covered outdoor space) receives our highest recommendation.

Wow! The Best!

We traveled through most of Sicily and this apartment was the best in every area. They provided water, bathroom amenities, close to downtown, friendly, accommodating, spacious, baby crib, everything clean and fresh, and excellent with communication. The bed and pillows were SO comfortable. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the apartment and Concita and Lorenzo. Highly recommended!

Stylisches Apartment mitten im Zentrum

Das Apartment ist genau so wie beschrieben. Modern, schön kühl, 3 Klimaanlagen, gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten über eine Stunde Flugverspätung und steckten dann auch noch im Stau nach Catania, trotzdem hat unser Vermieter geduldig gewartet. Die Terrasse ist im Innenhof gelegen und man nimmt rege Teil am Leben der Bewohner im Haus. Wir haben am Flughafen einen Mietwagen genommen. Zwei Probleme: der unglaubliche Verkehr und die Parkplatzsituation. Wir konnten kurz einchecken und unser Vermieter überließ uns für den Abend seinen Parkplatz in der Nähe. Die anderen Tage war es reine Glücksache, in der Nähe einen Parkplatz zu finden (zumindest im Juni). Die Stadt hat schöne Plätze und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu bieten, erstickt aber im Verkehr und zur Zeit auch im Müll (es war wohl ein Streik bei der Müllabfuhr). Schade. Tipp: wer mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, braucht gute Nerven und etwas Geschick im Verkehr, denn die Catanianer kennen so gut wie keine Verkehrsregeln. Aber dafür kann ja der Vermieter nichts. Deshalb volle Punktzahl, da die Wohnung eine Oase ist. Danke auch für kostenlose Kaffeetaps und kühles Wasser.

Breve tappa a Catania

Abbiamo trascorso una notte nell'appartamento di Lorenzo con la nostra bimba di un anno. Dopo un lungo viaggio è stato veramente un piacere trovare un posto così accogliente, confortevole e pulito. I locali sono spaziosi e arredati con cura e con tutto il necessario, sicuramente adatti a soggiorni anche prolungati. Per la bimba era disponibile un lettino e un seggiolone. La posizione è perfetta, a 5 minuti a piedi da piazza Duomo. Si trova facilmente parcheggio in strada (noi abbiamo trovato proprio di fronte al portone d'entrata). L'appartamento si trova al primo piano, ma le scale sono belle larghe e si riesce a portare tutto senza troppa fatica. L'accoglienza da parte della signora Concita è stata ottima, la comunicazione per il check in facile e veloce. Consigliato!
