"Clean but musty smelling room. Random man (not a guest) walked up to us while unloading our van late at night to ask if we needed help. Then proceeded to sit in the lobby and stare at us as we checked in. As a woman traveling, this made me extremely nervous. Now he knew what my car looked like, what kind of gear I was storing in my room, and my room number. We said something to the front desk clerk, but he seemed unbothered by it. 🙁"

"I hesitate to write this because I want to keep Blacksburg Bed & Breakfast to myself. It is an absolute hidden gem! Perfect for solo travelers, families, or large groups. Spacious houses - yes, houses - offer large, comfortable kitchens, living rooms, and multi-sized rooms. The food is excellent and made to order. At $9.95/person for homemade breakfast, with large portions, it is the best deal in town. Sherie, the cook, will deliver to your room! The GM is fantastic! He gave me a personal tour of the property and answered all of my questions about its history. I love this place! Fills up quickly so don’t wait to book! 10 stars!"

"This is a clean place to lay your head and shower on a budget. If that is what your budget needs then this is ok. It is an older property and they are slowly trying to improve it. That being said the pictures don’t really look like the rooms so lower expectations. Free simple breakfast, rustic pool, very close to Radford ."

"My son, dog, and I had a nice stay at this cabin. It was in a peaceful location and we enjoyed some rest and relaxation, as well as a nice hike to Cascade Falls only 25 minutes away. The communication with the host was immediate any time I reached out, which was really nice to see. They were very accommodating when I had an issue with the hot water and heat and said they would have someone out right away to look at it, but I opted to finish my stay since I was only there 2 nights, and then have someone come to look at it. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the rain. The bed was comfortable. They had cooking supplies so that I could heat up some meals we brought which was great. There were a number of cobwebs, but I didn't see any spiders inside and you are in a cabin so some wildlife was expected. Overall it was a nice stay. Thank you for having us!"
