"In the bedroom is huge tab that hasn’t been mentioned. The doors outside are not looked and anyone could get easily inside. Our room was on the first floor, and the window wouldn’t lock at all. The place feels very unsecured, even though outside and inside there notifications that security cameras in use. BS. only very strong halogen lights from outside that wouldn’t let you fall asleep. Breakfast was suppose start at 7am. However, it was front loops only available, until long after 8am they cooked some good. Coffee terrible. Do, we left without breakfast."

"Hotel was conveniently located to the Virginia Tech campus. Staff were friendly. It the internet did not work very well at all - which was problematic. Room was ok but the hotel jacked up prices due to graduation and we paid over $500 per night for a >3 star experience. Breakfast was ok."

"First, we grossly overpaid because it was graduation weekend and I rented 3 rooms. All the carpet needs to be ripped out. The breakfast and coffee are terrible so don’t pay for that. Not all the toilets in the lobby are functional. Water pressure bad and the temperature isn’t set to allow the water to go very hot or they don’t have the hot water capacity. We had leftover Carol Lee donuts and graduation cupcakes in a box that were covered in ants in the morning. When I went to tell the staff, she had the audacity to first asked me if I spilled anything and then proceeded to say it was because I brought sugar in the room instead of simply saying she would make sure it would be addressed- she argued with me and then her coworker followed it up by being rude saying it was good we were leaving. "

"The representatives at the front desk were very friendly and attentive. The bartender, who also waited on tables in the restaurant was fantastic. We ate there several times and he went above and beyond to make our meals special. I wish I could remember his name. We will definitely be back."

"The tops of the lamp shades were dusty. The staff at the front desk were not as friendly as some places. The restaurant staff was friendly. I was able to walk to campus which was good."

"Room outdated old brown carpet all over made it dark and gloomy. Paint chipped. Worse part was the shower pressure was awful. I tried to get a room change but got the run around. They finally sent the “manager” who came to try and fix it ran the water and said it was ok that even he had low pressure at his home. I showed him the shower head he said it was fine that’s it. Then I showed him the condition of the bathroom mold and stains and he said nothing. Honestly for a chain hotel this was really a poor representation. I was told the manager would contact me and he did not. Honestly even the breakfast was one of the poorest conditions I’ve seen in a chain hotel. Dried up sausage and scrambled egg no other real options besides waffles. Would not recommend if you are looking to relax or enjoy a stay in the area. This is my second stay here and this was far worse. Just poor customer service and attention to customer care or comfort of their customers. Felt like Just a money grab when people are in a pinch. "

"The room was fine and was able to meet our needs especially since we had a small dog. Thanks for accommodating him as well. The extra fee was reasonable."

"Good: Nice and comfortable stay. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Super quiet, which was great. Water pressure was great. The staff was excellent! Bad: My comforter had a couple stains on it. The refrigerator barely worked."
