"All the employees were very friendly, even the cleaning staff! The walls are thin so you will hear your neighbours but the amenities are beautiful. I highly recommend choosing the “all-inclusive” option for meals. The buffets were first rate and had everything labelled carefully if you have food sensitivities (like gluten intolerance or a severe nut allergy). "

"The property is very basic, but clean. It is in a noisy location where there is a lot of noise from the street late at night. In the room you can hear every time someone else in the hotel flushes the toilet or walks around throughout the night, endless noise and we didn’t sleep very much. Having said all that, it was only £37 a night! What do you expect for that price. Overall it served a purpose for 1 night, but we would not return."

"We spent a wonderful weekend at EL Violin Experiecia, and we are sure we will be returning for longer stay! The hotel has only 3 rooms, therefore ensuring private, calm and relaxing experience. "My daughter had private hurdles class at the stadium and this hotel is literally across the street. Very convenient. It’s also very walkable to the beaches and restaurants. There’s Mercado on Friday and Wednesday. A big Lidl, Aldi and Mercadona in walking distance. It was decent and perfect for our short stay. "

"We stayed for 5 nights on half board for a walking holiday. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and, in particular, the swimming pool in the early evening. The reception staff were highly professional and the restaurant staff were friendly. The evening menu only changes once a week which meant some repetition in our actual selections of food."

"Really lovely place to stay, from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, checking in late was no problem as they have 24 hour reception. The room was clean and well equipped. The shower was great. Air con worked perfectly. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The pool wasn't busy (stayed late May) and the grounds were varied and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again."

The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to please you with answers about any concerns or curiosities you have for the town and close areas. The location is perfect. Cleanliness is spotless. The room was ample and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with abundant and many cold or hot choices. We regret we could not stay more days and enjoy this gem of a hotel in Almunecar. Excellent!"
