Good base location. Pretty hotel lobby. Best part was the private beach. Nice little beach, with water pedal bikes you can borrow. Saw sea turtles and cool fish while on the bikes. the only complaint is that more chairs/umbrellas should be made available, even if for sale, we could never find any. Our room phone did not work and was never fixed and there was a weird fishy smell on our side of the hotel (it was not us lol), had to keep the windows open to air it out.

This was the first Riu that i had to reserve a spot in one of the restaurants, reservation are two days in advance.

room regarding maintenance was good, food overpriced for the quality of the food, we ate mostly out of the resort, in the city and other places.

Very well appointed condo. Views are incredible. Beach area is small but lovely. Infinity pool was great and perfectly heated. Wonderful pickleball and paddle court that’s surrounded by beautiful foliage and open 24hrs. Staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs for a late checkout.

Really helpful staff. Great free coffee. Little water in room. Great A/C and comfy bed. Big minus was pool being out of action, not told and we planned on using that for a day. Also quite far from town center but handy for airport.
