"Perfect holiday home for families.Quiet location with 4 large bedrooms and bedding for 13 guests.There are plenty of toys,books and dress ups for the kids plus a great pool to keep everyone cool.The very large outdoor undercover area was perfect for entertaining . "This is one of my favorite vacation homes that we have ever stayed at. It is situated close to town where there are many dining and activity options. The grocery store is nearby and there is a kitchen and grill available for use. We did get to see the resident wallabys which was a real highlight for me! The local birds made early morning coffee on the patio very special. Communication with Cat and Steve was very efficient and we felt supported during our stay. If we have a return to the area, we will definitely be back! "

"Beautiful property for those who love interacting with animals! Relaxing, provisions for a campfire at night. Everyone was accommodating and helpful! Kitchen and bedrooms require screens but although small areas they were comfortable. Would book again!!"

"My kids loved being around the animals at the property and waking up to the sounds of cows and horses. We would have loved a tour of the property on one of the tractor trailers included in the stay. The cows and horses were super friendly and calm. The shared kitchen wasn’t the cleanest as it’s shared with some of the station hands. The rooms are in a donga type building, with a cute courtyard and tables. Lots of bugs around so make sure you shut the doors or you’ll end up with 1000 bugs in the bed. Don’t forget the bug spray - would be great if some mosquito coils were in the room. We loved making a camp fire - don’t forget to bring marshmallows. Plenty of food options in Kuranda for breakfast and lunch but only found one place open for dinner. The stay could be enhanced with a small breakfast (or at least coffee/tea in the rooms), or picnic lunch/dinner included. We found all staff super kind and helpful. The overall appeal of the place is wonderful - will definitely recommend to everyone we know. "
