"The home is comfortable and gorgeous and we loved the wood heater as it was cold enough to use it and we have one like it at home. Proximity to Flinders Chase NP was important for us and the lovely beach was readily accessible for long walks. But what we loved most were the wallabies that came down to the cottage every afternoon for a feed - they were very entertaining and we loved feeding and watching them. "

"Beautiful simple & clean property with a stunning view. It had everything we needed. We stayed during the dead of winter & it was really wet - we did find the house overall to be chilly - even with two reverse cycle heaters. Would definitely suggest some winter doonas. But otherwise, a lovely experience."

"We visited from the US as a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. We loved the remoteness of the property and seeing the kangaroo & echidna right out the window. If you’re a bird watcher, there is plenty to see! Accommodations were top notch. Excellent quality linens and really comfortable beds. We would stay again if visiting KI in the future. We brought all our groceries from Adelaide which worked out really well. Such a nice welcome tray of local from Yael, the host & we had to go buy 3 more packages of the local figs because they were so delicious! Really nice experience. "
