I loved my stay in Caseville, and Sunset Shanty was a great place to call home for a few days. Very comfortable, all the amenities, fun decor, very clean, convenient location. "I really liked this little cottage on the Lake. When I say on the lake, I mean right up on the lake. Just a mere 6 steps down and you are on the beach. Mark, the host was overly accommodating and always checking in to make sure we were taken care of. 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10. The only downfall is if you had that many people there is only a single bathroom. But if you are looking for a small get-away with a few friends or family, this is your place. "We had a blast going to this cottage waterfront for our combined Bachelor/Bachelorette party. The hosts were accommodating with limited toiletries and blow-up kayaks and paddle board for us to use on the water. We were close enough to the bay to enjoy the open water, and even ventured to Frankenmuth nearby. The amount of beds was very nice for our group as well."

"We have friends that stay in the Caseville County park, so we always plan a weekend trip to meet up and catch up. Not only was this home perfectly located for our needs (near to beach, putt putt, dining), but it was so unique and beautiful. Everything was a described in the listing, but better in person. Plus you can see it is being renovated to add even more space to the basement, it will be exciting to see when we come back again next year, because we definitely plan to stay here again....

"Had such a great time. Cabin was comfy. The only thing I would do is keep the windows free from cobwebs and spider, keep them clean. To me the main attraction is definitely the view from the wall of windows!!! Amazing bay view. With a view like that you definitely don’t want anything to disrupt it. Very quiet and relaxing."

"I cannot say enough great things about this property! My *wife* and I stayed here and got married in June. We had our wedding ceremony outside by the playhouse, and our wedding party stayed with us for the week. This space was absolutely perfect for our group! The grounds were beautiful, the cabin was well stocked and the communication and hospitality from Rita was excellent! Despite it being a long drive for our guests, it was completely worth it! We used the little house as a Photo Booth and the detached garage/barn for the reception/dance area! It was such an amazing experience and I look forward to coming back for anniversaries in the future! If I had to note one thing that wasn’t perfect, I would say that there were a lot of ants in the cabin, (I think they are carpenter ants), but this is a cabin in the woods so that’s to be expected! All in all, 10/10 recommend for your large gatherings!"
