"I’m not even sure where to start with this incredible property. It’s an absolute oasis in the heart of Chianti wine region. Theres an extremely well kept pool that overlooks the rolling hills of wineries. The staff are amazing, so accommodating, and predict your every need. The rooms are great and clean and perfect for a couple traveling to wine region. If you aren’t driving yourself, make sure to reach out to the hotel ahead of time to book any car services — transfers within the region are hard to come by but the hotel staff will be more than happy to help with enough lead time. Grazie mille for the wonderful stay! We will be staying here every time we are in the region!"

"Borgo San Luigi exceeded our expectations in every way. We stayed here for 2 days before our wedding at Borgo Stomennano, 15 mins away. We had a large group of nearly 30 people staying at San Luigi during our wedding events, and the consensus could not be clearer: what a stunning property. Yasmin, Ivan, Filippo and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to every request. They helped us get a car rental delivered, ensured a smooth experience for our guests, helping us deliver their welcome bags and coordinating a clothes ironing service before the wedding. The restaurant on site was also terrific and the wait staff, especially Alessandro, were so welcoming and warm. They all knew we were here to celebrate our wedding and did everything possible to take great care of us. The grounds are stunning and that pool is amazing. Such a great place to relax for hours. If you are looking for a beautiful, elegant but with a rustic charm stay in Tuscany, look no further than this property. The staff will treat you like family and you will be dreaming of your next trip here."

"We've stayed on two previous occasions at La Bagnaie, but not at this particular villa. The reviews don't really do it justice. It was well furnished, fanatically located with views across Tuscany to San Gimignano, and with every necessary bit of information provided in advance. Jacky, the manager who we have met on two previous occasions, called in and along with the host, was her usual very welcoming self. Jacky even managed to engage Serena to cook for us one night, a delightful, very talented local chef who we would highly recommend, if you can get her! Not one of us could think of any way in which our way could be improved."

"Wir waren als Familie mit 2 Teenager-Kindern eine gute Woche hier und fanden es super! Das Haus und vorallem der Garten sind traumhaft. Der Pool ist ein paar Schritte entfernt und wird mit anderen geteilt, was völlig okay war. Zum Haus gehört eine Katze, die jeden Morgen an der Terrassentür wartet, um gefüttert zu werden. Wir haben sie sofort ins Herz geschlossen!Die Lage ist perfekt und sehr malerisch in den Hügeln des Chianti. Wir haben Ausflüge nach Florenz (1h), Siena (30min), San Gimignano (40min) und Monterrigioni (20min) gemacht, außerdem eine Raftingtour auf dem Fluß Elsa und eine Weinprobe.Der nächste kleine Supermarkt ist 10min entfernt, ein richtig großer ca. 30min.Die Vermieterin Ardiana war sehr nett und hat immer sofort geantwortet."
